03 cobro vs ctsv and c5
Met up with a few friends last weekend and had some good runs. V was on street tires so didn't want to do anything lower than a 50 roll, all races were 50-130ish. ctsv has heads/cam, ported snout, zl1 lid, upper/lower, longtubes, etc etc. c5 has cam, longtubes, p1sc.
All in all good runs, obviously didn't have enough for them but kept it interesting. Doing e85 and more boost after this weekend so will have to get a rematch then.

Nice! A buddy of mine just threw a blower on his stock c5z. We are wanting to set up a run. I'm expecting it to be pretty close. Looks like you and I have almost identical numbers/setups, but my buddy doesn't have a cam or LT's.

Yeah the c5 was deff faster than I expected. I went in pretty much knowing the v would beat me, and figured the vette would be a drivers race until over 100 than he'd pull. But if we took off at the same time that car would have put quite a few lengths on me. Really shows how good those cars are from a roll with their light weight and damn aerodynamics.

Never really saw the need. If I do them at one point I'm going to get good ones(arh's) which cost about 1500. That's a lot of money and a huge pita for 20-30hp. Until I do something engine wise I'll keep my manifolds and use that as an excuse for when I lose a race

Lmao! Yeah, for the money and trouble, I suppose it's one of the last things most choose to do. I honestly thought you'd pick up more at your power level.

Yeah long tubes are way at the bottom of my list. Similar price for me to do a fuel system and go E85 and gain WAYYYYYY more power.
