Camaro SS 1LE vs 5.0 vs 5.0 Got together with a 5.0 guy and did some friendly runs. Also, ran into another 5.0 guy, we got to run as well. We compromised and tried to make the runs as fair as possible, everything was discussed previous to the runs.
Camaro SS / 1LE: cai, ported throttle body, LTs and tune.
Grey 5.0: JLT cai, X-pipe, axle-back and Bama v2 tune. We got 2 good clean runs, 50ish roll / 3 honks.
Red 5.0: Steeda cai, LTs, X-pipe, corsa extreme axle-back and Lund tune. Got one clean run, 40ish roll / 3 honks.
Here is the vid done with some crappy app..

**** dude.....hell of a run. The 1st one i gave you the edge. The second one is a tough call. He had a edge but it looked to me you was gonna come back around him. They are basically geared a little better for the mph they run too. Gear that fif gen to top out at 125-130 in 4th like them and watch them cry some more.

Edit.....told you guys it woukd take a tune for a 5br0 just to keep up

No shame here. I just hope to show that 5th gens arent as bad/slow as some people make them out to be.
I have looked into UDP but have seen mixed reviews and not sure what brand to go with yet. Have been thinking of getting Rick C. To port the mani later on. Also, just saw that they released the OTR intake for my car, will look into it.
I think the next mod, might just be a cam. Maybe a night fury or even a tick polluter. We shall see.
I wouldnt mind getting this car to trap 120+
It doesnt but they are just about to release one. It was announced recently.
No shame here. I just hope to show that 5th gens arent as bad/slow as some people make them out to be.

The gray 5.0, was definitely a drivers race.
The red one was more tricky. I was starting a little lower on the power band that I wanted but due to gearing differences, we compromissed. On one of our runs (before i set up camera), I crept on top a bit, but of course I didnt get that on video.. Lol... Seems like cars were extremely close....
And if 62, feels like sharing some tips and secrets, im all ears.... Wouldnt mind pulling mid 120 traps NA.

There were definite diferences in our power bands and gearing.
The gray 5.0, was definitely a drivers race.
The red one was more tricky. I was starting a little lower on the power band that I wanted but due to gearing differences, we compromissed. On one of our runs (before i set up camera), I crept on top a bit, but of course I didnt get that on video.. Lol... Seems like cars were extremely close....

This must really bother you furd guys after all the **** you've talked about turd *** fifgens. Looks like they turned out to be the better car.
