Dig run: 06 CTS-V vs 09+ Audi S4
I was driving around mexico when I ran into a white audi that seemed a bit louder than usual. Unsure if it was just an A4 with exhaust, I pulled up to investigate and noticed it was an S4. He looked over and heard my car and when the light turned green, he sped off to the left and I followed behind. We both got to a red light, and although the street in front of us wasn't completely straight, he mentioned we should run it.
I was on the right lane, and the street arched left a bit and then straightened up. I agreed. His passenger called it out and then we both hit it from a dig. I spun thru first, and couldn't keep my foot down in 2nd because I felt like I was going to have the back step out mid-turn, and then I got back on it and shifted to 3rd. Found traction and pulled hard.
When we both stopped, they were excited and yelling and me and my passenger both laughed and gave em thumbs up and told em good run. Car was a random encounter so I didn't know owner or mods done. It didn't sound fully stock, but who knows.
2009+ Audi S4

2006 CTS-V
"Cam Only"
CLIFF NOTES
===========
-Random dig encounter with newer V6T Audi S4 with unknown mods.
-Street not fully straight for few feet, but worked out either way.
-Good guys afterwards.

Race one with a stage 2 tune and TCU tune and youll be seeing tail lights. Looks like the fastest recorded thus far is 11.5@120. May want to do your research before posting your opinion, not a fact. Guys running lower 3 second 0-60 times too, its no slouch.

May want to rethink that....rated at 333hp but is very underrated from the factory. With a stock 13.0 second quarter mile i dont think you can say its no competition for a LS2 especially when in a Cadillac.

What didnt sound stock about it?
Lucked out? Youre racing a blown 3.0L with a cammed LS2 haha. I know LS2's are amazing engines but if you were both on the same playing field modification wise, you would lose.
Heres the top few i could find, so maybe higher than i quoted....

If he was as modded as me, he'd be much more in the hole dollar-wise so why the argument? I'm ~25k invested in this car in total including purchase. How much is an S4, used, let alone including mods?
No denying theres competition between the LS2 V and the S4, but thats depending on what the race is. Dig, AWD is a big advantage in the S4. Roll, LOL if you think a stock S4 will roll on a stock V. Anything can happen on the street though. I'm just here to kill a 7AT AWD car worth more than my car from a dig no less while I'm on all season tires, while the guys in the other car expect me to take a loss when I agree to their race.
[edit]
Did a quick search on that fastest time, and found 2 threads. This one, and then this one here:

More than half of the list is in the 12s, at 115 and under.
Saw this post in the link from search ...
Finally got a decent time.

Car: 2013 Audi S4 DSG
Relevant mods: APR Stg 2 93 pump file, Nuespeed Catback Exhaust, Stock Cats, Roc Euro Intake, F/R LW Rotors, aftermarket 19" wheels (not light but lighter than stock).
Comments: worst time with decent launch was 12.75@108, about 9 runs within these limits. DSG is still short shifting as with all stock B8.5 S4's, APR is leaving a lot of power on the table compared to the other tuners with the lack of a DSG tune. Program switching would be nice, but I don't care enough to drive 40 min each way and pay a dealer to flash the 100 file and go back to pump. Ran without launch control. Still getting some timing pull of about 5 deg, took a pair of logs I'll go through. Need a CPS bad (looking at you AMS []), or supplement with some 100 gas.
This race didn't happen using VP104. I was on 93 pump, as I'm sure the other guy was on pump too.
I mean hell, if we're just gonna say all bolt on cars run hero numbers as the norm, then all bolt on Camaro SS should run 10.9, just like Hio does here.
