Default 8 Second LSX Pickup Truck Destroys +1000HP Toyota Supra

Take a peak at what going 8's in a 1/4 normal Chevy Pickup Truck looks like! All while dragging a +1000hp Toyota Supra down the track like it's his job!

Nice truck, but you could tell something was going wrong with the Supra. No real burnout, didn't even stall the car up, something just seemed wrong unless it was there for shakedown.

Impressive numbers from both cars, especially that heavier and shaped like a brick truck. Although I'm betting that Supra would've edged him out if there was another few hundred foot of track, seems like he didn't launch nearly as hard and definetly had the mph advantage going through the traps.

I thought I heard the Supra go up on the 2-step. The problem with those cars, is they make nothing for torque down low. It takes a little while for them to get up in their power band, then they really start to scoot. Not really good dig cars, but they can be made to work.

Supra can get down from a dig, just many are not setup with it in mind.

I thought they were all top end as well, but a few years ago two of them showed me otherwise. Literally felt like I stepped into The Twilight Zone lol!

Yeah problem is you have to launch them at about 6k RPMs

The Supra went 166mph, unless I'm as blind as I think I am, so he would have come around him at some point.

I think I saw that truck put down ~1300whp the other day on FB, but I think that might have been an all out max effort pull for the dyno.

Badass truck for sure!

LOL. Right. Lots of respect for that lil 2JZ motor. Supras are beasts when done right..

I believe red dragon put down a hair over 1400rwhp on the dyno just a few weeks ago . But don't know if the wick is turned up all the way for this run.
