I've been wanting to run a blower swapped Cobra for awhile now and finally found one, it's a 2.3 Whipple with full bolt ons making 627/577, also a turbo honda making around 450whp joined in, and at the end is just my buddies pullied Cobra. Was a little disappointed in the Whipple, but after the race as always I was accused of hiding a shot. Said he's never lost to a cammed Corvette before that wasn't a C6Z.

Whats your tire set up? I'm usually in second from a 40 roll. I think i could maybe squeeze out first but even on my new Mickey Thompson DRs i would blow the tires off for sure.

I thought he was going to do a countdown, not just a ready, go. He was on street tires and couldn't brake boost off the hit, so it probably just evened it out.

I'm just on NT05Rs 305/35/19, on the street they hook up well for the power I have.

That's pretty much what the dude's friend told me before we ran, said "if you want that thing to go fast, you should do a mod swap on it, it'd run a lot better." but it is just a 6.2L boat anchor at best.
