If IAT only modify timing it isn't screwing anything up. It needs work in the higher kpa of the VE table. If you can't hit those kpa ranges because of air temps on the dyno, you will only be able to make an educated guess at it. If you are unable to tune, get setup to datalog some runs for your tuner on the street. If he wants the sensor in the air stream do that to of course, but I don't see how that is causing a rich condition if there is no fuel modifiers associated with it.

Apparently there is somehow. He showed me on his personal tune the adder vs iat which is where you can adjust the fuel more or less based off your intake air temperature just like the timing but my car doesn't have that icon option in it. I read it's 01 and up ecu only but my car is an 01 so it doesn't make sense

Yeah, he started trolling on my youtube account videos since yesterday. After reading all the responses he did on his only video posted, I decided to just block him. I've never seen someone with such poor trash talking in my life, it is actually comical lol

These are the setup's I'd recommend. I'm actually in the middle of my 408 build right now. My intake setup is a 85mm Z06 MAF, coupler to slp lid, and the SSRA Mega Mouth. I kept the slp lid because I've seen plenty of people go to a bigger lid and get 0 gains. The SLP lid is 90mm-ID. So if anything after that is smaller then 90mm ID you won't see gains. The ssra has proven to pick up about 2mph in the 1/4 though. If you go with the FTP 98mm lid the 85mm Z06 maf will be a direct fit where as a SLP lid will need a 3.75" coupler.

EDIT: I see you have a FAST 102. I agree with the choice of the 100mm maf and lid since that's the case. I would still get the SSRA though. You will see better gains from it then the lid and maf.
