My brother and I are about to make a bet who will be faster in the quarter mile and also from a roll. His set up is an sn95 cobra just dynoed at 301 rwhp and he will be running 100 shot of the juice. My setup is in the sig havn't got the heads and cam installed but its going to happen early next month along with a full dyno tune. I am shooting for 420 rwhp with the heads and cam installed. Who do you think will win the race? I think the ls1 should prevail even with his motor sprayed. He has 4:10 gears so he might launch an little quicker but that should be it. I am running 295/35/18 kumho MX's and he has 285/40/17 kumho MX's. I still have the stock 3:42 rear with the slp auburn ltd slip. Should be pretty close but I think I will walk him after first gear in my car. Has anyone raced any sn95's on the spray?

With those gears of his, and spraying he should give you a pretty hard fight down low but I'd venture that up top you'd pull away from him.

Should be very close. I'd say it could go either way. He'll be right around 400 RWHP with spray, and I think if he gets a better launch, he'll hold you off for the quarter. Stangs don't need as much power to hit the times that we do.

Well he's a much better driver than I am, the guy could probably race professionally if he had the desire. He's one of those guys who excels at everything he tries. I'll keep you guys posted.

Like others have said it will be a close race. A cobra with spray won't die up top it will pull like a ****.
