Default K20 Turbo Civic vs 690WHP ZR1

These 2 cars went back and forth, mostly dependent on the civic's traction. But this is the only video I got from my buddy (one driving the civic).

ZR1: Pulley,Tune, Cam? Owner claimed 690whp
Civic: K20A2, Built bottom end (stock sleeves), E85, 6266 on 15lbs. Est 550whp

I'm sending him the tires off my car and the car should straight rip once he can turn it up. Car made 700whp on higher boost.

Nice. I've always been a muscle car guy, but I was a Honda tech for 3 years and grew to like them. I had a stock 92 Civic Si and 94 Integra, and really liked them both. They are surprisingly roomy and sporty. I sold those, but I bought a cheap 93 CX shell to build. I've got a K24 and awd 5 speed out of a CRV. I'm converting it to AWD with 1st gen CRV rear suspension and diff, and I'll turbo it. Got a few others I have to finish first though.

I have always wondered why more people didn't do that, either with CRV stuff or JDM AWD Integra parts. Good luck!

That sounds fun. I've got some ideas in my head whenever I've got a house and big outbuilding I can build **** in. Thinking mid engine turbo K series in the integra.

Nice Honda he's got there, if that zr1 is really at that power level then he's doing pretty good.

Yeah I've only seen a few. Honda's RT4WD is a pretty lousy AWD system really. I'll see how I like it with the CRV stuff working like stock. If I don't like it, there are some options to improve it.

Fiero with a K20A2 swap would be pretty sweet. I bet that car is crazy with the boost up. With that turbo not spinning hard you can hear the motor fall out of it's meat on the shift. Still running STRONG.

Good kill!

ZR1 wasn't proper and needs maintenance/driver mod.

Yeah I think people out there need to see what its capable of first before the good races come. Most dudes with high powered cars would laugh at any civic. This thing looks pretty stock too lol.

When he gets it all dialed in maybe him and that MR2 that was posted in SRK should battle it out. That is a badass car too that is sleeper.
