8.8 is still way slow though imo. I was running on average 8.20 with just the catback on my car on stock tune(93 octane) with the street tires. my hero 1/8th was 8.05 @ 89.6.
Get you some drag radials on your car and I promise you will enjoy your car 100% more. If you daily drive it i. the rain etc., I would suggest the 555r radials.. not great for laumches but work just as good as street tires in the rain

I keep saying something has to be wrong with the 5.0s here. I just don't know what it is. But then again, the ZL1 is "supposedly" an 11sec capable car 100% stock on street tires. It doesn't seem any faster than my SRT but it wasn't stock either. It does however produce better times even when I'm taking it easy. I guess I need to calibrate my butt accelerometer.

I wouldn't be surprised if mappins doesn't post here again. He got his **** pushed in after talking so much game. Pretty sure a gen II lt1 would give him a good race. Just have to tell the lt1 guy to go on the 2nd honk....

Next time I buy tires I will have to look into them. I would just hate having to replace them all the time.

He either needs a lot of money, or too
Start stripping the car down to
Have a chance at poppa's catback/tune/tire bro.
Either way the Camaro will be heavily modded from stock while the mustang is
Not.

That's my point, car runs as it should for the mods he has done. Full weight, stock converter 4l60 car with full exhaust/intake/tune.
