Thanks man. I think I would too. What sucks is I STILL have not seen any around local. I am sure they are out there, and just not on the same patch of road as me at the time etc... but still waiting to run into one. Also haven't seen one at the track yet.

The last guy who went 11.9 @118 stock on stock tire was +200 DA.

I think it would be very close.

A douche in a manual... Would be ugly.

Someone else with a tire that knows what's up... Close race.

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=440725

He would have went 11.8 totally stock if he could have gotten a 1.7 60 ft. This was Positive DA.

I'm not sure it's an easy win poppa...too close to call IMO. A strong runner with a tire might get you.

I truly think that was an anomaly though. The mph etc.. something just isn't jiving with that run. Not saying it didn't happen as claimed... just that others don't seem to be duplicating it. I believe most will be mid-low 12s @115ish in normal DA.

Someone just went 12.2 @ 118.9 in a manual also. 2.0 60ft. Showroom stock.
Not sure on the DA.

I thought the 11.7 6G run was on a drag pack as well?

Has somebody now ran 11.7 with just a tire only out back and stock wheels all around?

If so, that is super impressive no matter how you slice it

I didn't call out anyone. My car was randomly brought up, just like always. By you I believe. I'll go back and look.

Edit: yep, you brought my car into this, and I simply corrected your ignorance.

Yeah it was drag pack.

Car was less than 1000 miles though. Was a 2ss with 220 lb driver. He also has the larger front brake option.

I think a 1ss in the same negative DA smaller driver and same track could do 11.7 with just a DR but who knows.

I still think the hero time total stock will be 11.7-8. DR and or drag pack 11.5-6. We will see after a few years.

And, my "suspension" as you call it gave me ZERO gains. I ran similar 60ft times with stock springs on street tires. The car is just not going to leave harder on stock stall.

Will the "suspension" help some with more power? That remains to be seen. As of now.. nope.. zero help.

Weigh reduction? really? Yeah.. i put a catback on... wow. lol. Don't get hypocritical on me about weight reduction.
Nothing hypocritical about it coming from me. It is when you have already said you dropped 50-60.....now with a drag pak to you're well over 100lb of wr. I just want a fair comparison. Besides 6gens has run 11s in positive da stock......so yea that's what i thought.

So yea....you have catching up to do.

Lol @ yeww gais....

My car runs what the hero 6gen ran in 800+ft DA vs their -2000DA. I can promise you... the average stock SS cars out on the road right now... would get rolled up by my car. And a tuned/tired SS would be a good race.
