Boss 302 vs 2016 SS
I'm not so sure about that. Right now 6gens are at about 470whp on pump gas. This wasn't a shop....just a verage guy doin pretty average bolt ons. They will go over 500whp with bolt ons and e85. Lt's have a serious amount of tq to go along with that hp.
CC only gained a handful of power over the stock tune on premium. Pretty maxed out from the factory.

Give it up Nate. It's so obvious you keep photoshopping the same car, in multiple different angles at that, into your pics.
On another note, I think someone's just a tad bit jealous, ya think? Lol

I doubt they are close to being maxed out on factory tune, gm is very conservative on their stock tunes. I would have to look at one to be sure about it. They like to run pretty rich afr.
That being said, 6G definitely isn't a night and day difference tune only like an L99 5G with a tune and trans tune.
Always lots left in the torque management on those cars. Not sure if you can tune it out yet or not.
Either way both types of driving have driver and chassis setup to go along with the engine, but setting an engine up to last on a road course is a lot more impressive than setting up an engine to last a matter of seconds in a strait line.
Again, you're taking what I said out of context, you're just trolling, or completely stupid, so I'm not going to explain it again. Also, nowhere in that quote did I say anything about the displacement.
Exactly, he is the only guy in the game making new stuff. If he can get a 2V to 500RWP, imagine what he could do with a 4V.
You mean like the 4.6L 3V and 5.4L 3V truck engines vs the GM 4.8l and 5.3l truck engines? Cause I'm fairly certain those were meant to compete with each other.
And while we're at it, we can talk about the Mach 1 that ran right with the SS, and the terminators that pushed GM's **** in.
We can compare those engines though like I was saying earlier.
The smaller 400lbs LS1 made 345hp
while the bigger, 540lbs+ 4.6L Mach1 made 305hp.
The smaller 400lbs LS6 made 405hp
while the bigger 600+lbs Cobro 4.6L made 390hp.
So in other words if you were to swap in an LS1 or LS6 into those cars they would be all around better performers. Strait line, handling, braking, gas mileage, you name it.
And then there are the coyote cars that have been embarrassing GM cars for the last 5 years.
And once again, I am out. You live and die for chevrolet and have your mind completely made up. Just remember that the mod motor record time completely destroys the LSx record time.
I couldn't care less about a heavily restricted strait line class that driver with the bigger wallet wins.
The results from the dyno day Saturday. All the Mustangs above the 460 were full on race cars. The 460 was a 5.0 on a 100 shot.
It's funny because the 5bros and GT500s here are fun to beat too.

I would have never bought another Chevy unless it was one of the 3 exceptions (ZR1, Z06, or ZL1) and the price would have to be to good to pass on. The price was just too good to pass on. I'm not planning on keeping it unless things don't pan out. But then it will probably fall apart or some mysterious crap will start happening to it. I'm still looking for the right Hellcat.
Oh ok lol, I've never looked at anything newer other than the 2011 Grand sport with the auto. Did not know that with the l99.
