Cam/6.0L T/A vs Bolt On 99 Cobra

Good running Cobra. Man, someone is pissed.
Hio, what 1st gear ratio did the Termi T56 come with again? Sorry man I can't remember, I need a genius who acts like they know all and thinks they're never wrong about anything.
Oh, and if I put E85 in my bone stock, non-flex fuel, tuned to 87 octane car, will it not run whatsoever?

Cool.....go put some e85 in your **** with no tune. Let us know how it works.
It is. Perfect example of a car running off what it is working with, and running well at that.
We have ran before but it was when I had just got the 20's on, and the Invo's were shot. I spun hard going into 3rd and had to let off and he jumped out a car-car.5 and I couldn't real him back in time.
Me on the drag pack and him as his car is now should be good.

Well.....there were no vid phones 17 years ago. But it's well documented what a turd a 99 cobro was. Look up the recall.

A ****** 2v will take one of gods greatest days to reach 14.0 stock.
When i say 14.0 for the 99 cobro that is very accurate. The ones at my track were running 13.7 had tires at a minimum. Most had gears too and some sort of exhaust. They were atleast .5 and 5mph behind stock for stock....as the saying goes "in the hands of the people"

I saw them go high 13s after the fix back in the day. 98 Cobra would give one a run. You can get them in the 12s with full bolt ons. Rear and trans won't survive. My tpi with the exact same mods as one would be a good run except with boost. If one is running 11s na it's going to be light as hell.

My 96 mustang gt with a mark viii swap, stock GT tune, 6 24lbs injectors and 2 19lbs injectors. This thing was bone stock right down to the mid pipe and matches his in acceleration. Oh and my IMRC's were wired open.

Exactly right. My buddy back in college had a black/tan 98 Cobra. Stock car on his FIRST TIME to the track went 13.6. I remember it well. He did a few low 14s as he learned how to drive then clicked off a 13.6 102. Here is where knowlege helps... we went back to the track with mods and he went SLOWER like 2-3mph slower. We were baffled. Found out his IMRC butterflies actuator died leaving them closed and killing all the top end power. Fixed it and he went to a low 13 at 108 or something with a 2.0 60ft on street tires. Its really common either the cable breaks or the acuator dies. With these cars being old as hell and high milage i bet many IMRCs are stuck closed and their owners down even know.

Props to the Cobra though, seems to run good.
I usually don't comment like this because anything can happen on the street, but that T/A under performed. Is there any track times on it?

Something wrong with that thing. I am willing to bet his IMRC's are stuck shut.

I ran 14.3@99 with a 170K motor in 90*F weather with an ORH. 13.9 would be more realistic I think.
You're dead wrong. 14.0 was extremely common and I think the record was a 13.6@102. Hell, even motor trend got a 14.0@100 with a 99 GT.

Why did you have 2 diffrent size injectors?
