I like how Hio can swap in an entire Ls6 with a larger camshaft than an ls1 and 243 and it's a bolt on car with rocker and spring upgrades that we know of. He has some stock c ports and degreed stock cams and his car is h/c/I/e/ nitrous blower build modular monster of some sorts.

Hipocracy I tell you!!!

What's so wrong with degreeing stock cams for a bolt-on car?

So it's a black sheep, in a class of its own of sorts. Right in the middle of too modded and slow.

If someone can replace a stock LS1 cam with a better, yet different, stock LS1 cam from a different year and still call it a bolt-on engine, there should be no stink with replacing stock 4.6 cobra heads with better, yet different, stock 4.6 cobra heads from a different year. It's the same principle.

Lol swing and a miss!

Hio doesn't go around saying he has stock heads and stock cams like this cobra tool. It's a bolt on ls6 inside a catfish.

All of this ^^^

I'm not taking anything away from the cobra, but that 6.0 is a turd with those heads on it until it gets into boost... Wait a minute, it's an n/a car. The compression radio on that is not setup for what he's wanting, like stated, put some 243's on it or some prc's and see how much it wakes that car up. It'll be a complete different race. I believe it's like 9.4:1 lol

A comparable built would be using 243 heads and an ls7 cam and calling it a bolt on ls1. But that combo never came from the factory and neither did 03 cobra heads and 96 cobra cams on an NA cobra.

Yet hammer replaces his stock LS1 cam with a different stock LS1 cam from a different year and its a okay. But this dude replaces stock 4.6 cobra heads with different stock 4.6 cobra heads from a different year and some of you flip biscuits over it...??? It's the same principle. Why the hypocrisy?

I'm glad you clarified that. So no more comparing Hio's car to anything else like you all do on a daily basis being it's of a small minority mod group.

Hey Jake, your leader agrees with me. And I know for sure you wouldn't question hammer. Flippin tool.
Degreeing stock cams would be taking advantage of the capabilities of stock components and optimizing them. Do you not learn anything from hammer and hio?

I think hammer has a point on that. See above. It's actually not exactly the same when you put as he did.

Not much really. Although ask yourself that question of what the cobros would think if a ls did that and tried to pass it off as bolt ons.
