GT350 lost to a car with 50 less horsepower and only weighs maybe 100 lbs less? Something doesn't seem right.

50 less hp but the lt1 has more tq. When one engine has more hp and the other more tq it makes it a wash engine wise. Gt350 and sexgen a drivers race......except when the a8 gets involved. Then $ on sexgen

What gets me is that the gt350 has WAY more hp\L. Nothing makes sense anymore. Hot snow falls up.

The dude in that 14' 5.0 was taking a bite of cheese burger between shifts... The GT350 should've started walking up top.

Did the SS have a passenger? I'm guessing not. GT350 still beat it with the extra weight.

SS and gt350 run basically identical 1/4 mile ET's. 350R seems to have maybe a slight mph advantage but the ss gets moving better

Race against the gt was a stick. The vid against the 350, cts and 392 is an auto. You can hear it. Just noticed...

My God that 5.0 driver ******* sucks.

For what it's worth, I messed around with a Gt350 the other day from a 2nd gear pull. I was on my heavy 20's and had the drag pack loaded in my car so we weren't light by any means, and he couldn't pull away from me at all. Sad.

The 5.0 wasn't losing any ground on the shifts. The drivers were probably pretty equal. The SS is just much faster.

6th gen ftw! I will admit even being pro 5.bro that the gt350 is not impressive to me at all. This vid proves exactly why I'd get a manual 6th gen over an A8, if I don't get a blown coyote. Very impressive results
