Default 408 GTO Vs. 15' Scat Pack A8

Went out to Mexico and took my second loss in the Scat Pack. Other loss was a cammed ZO6. I had a passenger, the GTO did not. GTO also had a RPM built stalled auto. Has spray but obviously didn't spray here. Scat Pack mods are CAI and CAT delete. Scat had a passenger over 200 pounds. GTO did not. 20-120. Enjoy. Yes the video is shitty but you can see head lights and tail lights. We are supposed to race in my Camaro tomorrow.

That's a loss I'd gladly take, sounds like a hell of a car.

It sounds good. I was surprised the Scat Pack hung in there like it did. Then again this car has ran with some pretty quick cars now.

Since the GTO was on a nitrous tune, Im sure there is quite a bit left in it when he races without nitrous. Good race nonetheless

Thanks. It was a good weekend for late night runs. I will get the GoPro going here soon. Get some videos that don't suck.

I am looking into getting one of these. Much cheaper than a GoPro with pretty good video. The Elite model at 4k vid for $149 cant be beat.

I wonder how long it will be before GoPro has to lower their cost.

408 just can't get it done against Dodge's 392 with similar mods.

An A8 6th gen I wanted to run the same night that wouldn't race me ran the GTO the next day. Lost by a little over 3 cars. He had it on video and showed me. Low option Scat Tank FTW.

Passenger could have been decider tbh. Dodge cars don't need MORE weight, they need less. LOL

This is true. If the passenger wasn't 250 pounds I never would have mentioned it in the first place. I ran a 331ci Foxbody with a V3 blower on 9psi two weeks ago and we were a dead heat. Ran 4 times. Said they just got the car together and put down 420whp. He planned to turn the boost up more soon.

I washed the car Sunday before putting it away and found this. It was a nice night out so not sure if it would of made any difference. The JLT intake tune is plastic and having trouble keeping it attached to the coupler.

That is the GTO. Although my car is not quiet with the Cats out, it is nowhere to be heard compared to the decibels that GTO is making. If that was my car you would of heard it shift 4 times. I was halfway thru 5th gear at 120ish. My car is still quiet enough in 4 cylinder mode holding MPH you can't even hear the engine running.

Yea it would. Margin of error being slim for either car. Good thing is both have well working auto's.
