S550 handles better than you think. As far as your fix... of course... throw a bunch of mods at anything and it will get faster. But my statement stands.... mod for mod, the 5th gen will not compete with the 5.0.

If i were to have Long tube headers, no cats, PMAS cold air setup, ported intake similar to what Phil has, you honestly think it would be a close race? Sure, his car runs good. As it is with the 1.85 rockers, long tubes, no cats, z28 intake, ported intake, and most likely ported tb, it should be a good race with my tune/catback S550.
Tb is not ported so now you're just making **** up.

E85 much? Downplay much

As it is right now with you in your best form you're getting outran.......you know your intake/tune/e85/cam adjustment /suspension mods/ cat back/weight reduction vs a car with stock mufflered exhaust


I'm sure the s550 handles fine.....just not as good as fifgens. Atleast according to the data/head to heads

Phil can run E85 too. Guarantee he won't gain more than 10hp off it.

You seem pretty sure of me getting outran. you never know

NA the PMAS seems to be the real deal.. averaging 12-17ish rwhp which is real good for a CAI... big difference was up top of rpm range.. much more power.

I think something is slow about that S550. In the immortal words of Hio... something isnt right.

Your proof is a one trick pony. Helk you seem to always struggle to run within .4 if best from track outing to track outing.

You still on my 12.4 run nuts? The next outing after my 12.4 run, I ran a few 12.6s in 1000ft higher DA. Get over it Hio... dang man. Seriously....

Ok.. so 10-13rwhp... That is the range I have been talking about all along. Its not THAT big of a difference. tenth of a second in the 1/4? I mean really man... Not a huge gain.

Oh and I feel you on the $3/gallong thing... station closer to me charges $2.29... the one I run to 60miles away has it for $1.69

Same condition as your supposed 11.8 run a similar 5th gen could run 11.799

I've actually seen that power yes. He also went in the 10's and made that power through a 4:10 gear.....what gear did you have?

What did your Fbody run?

3.90s and id love to see that dyno bc id be willing to bet it was on a boss or CJ manifold at least. If you're talking about calimer, he was not running a stock coyote intake lol
