Default DIG - 402ci/225 shot Nitrous Z28 vs PT8847 LS3 SS

Good race between two 9 second cars. Turbo car went 9.5 @ 145, nitrous car went 9.1 @ high 140s (made mid 500s on motor).

Some cool 4th gens, spray car looks like it got out of the groove too. Wish I lived further south.

Nice run!

How's the 4l60e in the turbo car? Brad built mine also and so far it's working flawlessly. Chad does awesome work too, he did my first build. Who does he have tuning for him now since Steck moved? I'm going to need a tune soon and I don't really want to drive another 4+ hours again right now.

Nice run. Couple questions:

Does the turbo car just go off a 2 step? What tires does it use?

Sorry for the late reply.

Transmission in the turbo car is working flawlessly. A lot of people give the 4L60e ****, and it's definitely not the best transmission for big power by any means, but Brad has it down to a science. He doesn't just know how to put them together, rather, he knows how to truly build them. It really helps that he now does some tuning, and more specifically transmission tuning. He gets very in depth with it, and knows exactly what the transmission likes. He's torn apart and tested so many, so he has done his homework on what kind of pressures, tolerances, and parts will make the 60e last. The 60e in this black car never has had a hiccup, and Brad runs them in the Ramaro and his own 4th gen. What's hilarious is he hasn't quite got around to fixing his wife's 60e

Chad has Shane tuning now that Steck is gone. If you planned on using Steck, send him a message and he'll tell you who he likes in town. He's only going to remote tune a few certain people here in town...you can always drive to Austin lol.

Yeah I texted him a while back and he gave me a name of someone, but I'd have to look and see who it was. I was talking to him a little about remote tuning also. Yeah his trans builds hold big power for sure! Brad is pretty backed up and I'm thinking about seeing if he may be able to tune my car if he can squeeze me in.

He supposedly just beat a viper in that 88 ramaro pickup truck Lol. He had him by a couple I believe until they got over 130+ and it started to gain back. Heard the viper owner wasn't happy

Old video but I still like them.

Brad's a good friend of mine, he is currently taking a bit of a break from 60e building right now I think, probably tuning as well but I'm not sure. He does want to take a peak at my car and learn it a little he said.

Is the black turbo car launching off a 2 step?

Yeah, I kind of figured he was going to.
