The 2v that I raced freight trained a 116 mph vette. And gets pulled a full length by me from 70 to 95. And after 100 it would just get dominated. I offered to roll race him yesterday but he's scared and refused. 
My car runs just as it should for a full weight, improper HCI a4 LS1. All my little puppets in here will continue to dance.
I like my 2.73s. They are awesome on the highway. And I love being able to downshift to 1st at 40-45 mph and to 2nd at 90. Also great mileage.
