I guess that might depend on the mods. We are talking gap not a car leingth. Cam and headers only I could see not being good for the 5.bro. Intake and tune I could see it the other way around.

On another note, what were your guys mods when you raced that 5G? I know it blew up into a bunch of crap and I really don't want nor care to re hash any of it. I just wanted to know, but buy the time I saw it, it was already going on and on.

Your faggotry is beyond comprehension. Take a look above if you want to see where the mod for mod come from.

Poppa has a catback, cat delete, Lund racing flex fuel e85 tune, minor suspension mods out back, and was running his street wheel up front with his DRs and drag wheels out back IIRC

Phil meanwhile had headers, orx, NPP, z28 CAI, rockers and springs, and was shifting around 7k (supposedly a stock tune but obviously with some variables changed) IIRC

Why is npp always mentioned as a mod lately?

It comes on the car from the factory.

5.br0's stock are faster than 5g's stock. stockish 1le vs stock 5.b0 is a drivers race. Once a 1le is modded or cammed vs a lbo br0 the 1le will take the w. If a yote is fbo and cammed fbo 1le it's coming down to the driver.

Thanks, exactly what I was asking. Although I think it's a closer rase with a 1le than people think. They each respond to diffrent mods, so "mod for mod" is pretty a obscure thing. I guess some people think what ever they are driving is going to set the world on fire.

Not bad but you missed a few. Poppa had nearly 200lb of wr, modded airbox, catch can mod.

Npp is stock ****. They actually puck up about 8whp with a aftermarket exhaust. But it's nice for it to be quiet when you don't want the noise.

Phils tune had only rev limit moved and cats turned off.

Marc's list wasn't quite complete for poppa. Both cars has 2/3s of the oe exhaust replaced.

They are close. Each seem to have they're strong point. To be honest the 5gen has more room to grow modding wise. Most just don't do what should be done for those cars.

LOL, so headers/mid pipe= mid pipe/cat-back in regards to performance gains? What a stretch.

Bahahahaha no that was me stopping a freight train, after shifting to 2nd gear 30 mph early. I've also freight trained a few different modded br0s.

You walked up on that race all cocky and got your **** pushed in by a near stock 2v vs you full bolt on, heads, cam, intake, stalled auto. You have no room to talk about less or more modded. I bet your butthole is still tender.

200 lbs weight reduction ? Really? I thought all he had for any significant WR was drag pack? Which was not used in the race...and is not close to 200 lbs....interesting

Lmao... Not taking sides... But for some reason the word tender got me rolling in light of this whole 2v situation

NPP makes more power than stock exhaust and it does not come from the factory. It is an option.
