15' FBO Brolander vs. stock A8 16' Goat Gen Camaro

I was about 2.5 mph more most of the night. All thing equal I'm guessing 1-1.5 mph to SS. My motor is still tight too. 900 miles. Some say they pick up a bit when they loosen.
He was sitting in the car when I talked to him didn't get a great look at him but from what I seen he looked to be about 200 lb guy as well. 50 less than me. He was 60 in the 1.7x just like me as well.
You think a CF DS would get me a tenth? Want to go as far as I can with warranty. I'd also like stock tune record lol

That being said, your 1/8th trap is stellar. Damn near 6mph greater than my stock power stock toon 1/8th traps. With lots of torque management on your end

Thanks
Yes but the only thing that did much was the drag pack IMO.
If I could get it to hook probably a very high 11.9-12.0. Back seat is only 35 lbs and I'm 250 lol. Ported tb is a throttle response mod maybe 2-3 hp. I felt nothing from the CAI and dyno are not showing it either. It's a mod for the future. My drag pack is cast and heavy. Tires are heavy radials. Was fighting 15-20 mph headwind was gusting on some runs.
They will run 11.9 totally stock in DA up to maybe 500-1000. With no wind. If you can hook hard. Someone 80-100 lbs lighter than me would help too. Someone could probably get 11.7 best case totally stock in ridiculous -2-3000 DA. But then again tracks perform different even with same da.
I'm gonna get a throttle controller will help my 60 possibly. It will go 11.7. TM kills this thing off the line and the 1-2 shift. It pulls timing on the shift as well im reading from people.

Oh ok.. yeah was curious about your mph but...headwind easily kills 2-3 mph..I bet you have easy .70s in it with no wind.
I'm gonna run my 6th gen completely bone stock, with about 5k miles on it as soon as I can get some good air on a Friday night when I'm off..(this is like getting the stars to align...lol).. I'm hoping for an 11.999 on a -500' DA night if I can hook it. Our Friday night track prep is terrible, especially with all of the slammed silverados burning their radials off to half track, tearing the prep all to ****.
We have a track rental in December I'm going to get on but I'll likely take my C7Z to that one.

Not sure...but its rotating weight and it's one piece for slightly less parasitic. Could help a bit.
I think if I pull the front seat, hit the tires a bit harder with the ramped up throttle controller and run a CF driveshaft 11.6 for sure. On a stock tune basically stock power and stock converter. lol it's incredible.
Thanks
They really are. I was very impressed by the Scat packs also. Not so much the coyotes. They aren't much quicker than a comparable ls1 car that night. Which is solid but it's a 20 year old motor. Maybe they weren't proper idk.

My traps were decent. Wind was on and off. I was out trapping tuned coyotes by 3+ mph. And a Scat pack by 2.5. So I'm happy it is what it is. It's probably got a 117 in it perfect run as is at Milan. The air was good but the track still isn't as fast as some in the country. C7 zo6 not sure if stock best trap was 126~127 IIRC. Ran 11.1. SC only 6g 123-125 with some traction problems.
Some say us131 in martin is faster. They claim they are the fastest track in Michigan. I may try them some time. Milan elevation is 5xx and 131 is 6xx. So that's a wash. Maybe it's more downhill or better air idk.

Sooooo close to 11.7. Was holding the car in gear all night because it would shift about 100 ft befor the line. On my last run DA was down to -100 and I hit the rev limiter right before the line! Costing me the 11.7! With a hook I was running consistent 11.8-11.9 with da at +50-100.
Ran a scat a few times. Had the air box mod, tazer and dr. My first run we both blew the tires off. He ran 12.8 to my 12.5. He trapped 113 i trapped 115 that run. He got out in front of me but I steadily pulled him. The cars are very very close. He got a best of 11.9x@114. With out my weight loss from the drag pack the cars would honestly be a dead heat. I'd give a very very slight edge to the sexgen. I'm talking like .1 and 1 mph. Was a newer 5.0 auto and a 13 5.0 auto both on drag packs. Not sure what else. They running 12.3-12.7 at 110-113 all night.
Was a stock stingray running 11.8@116. They don't have much on a 6g. My guess is a tenth maybe two.
New zo6 I seen run 11.1 it may have went faster. Also a stock 6g with supercharger and a new focus rs guys were from livernois. SS having traction issues running 11.3. I beat the brakes off the focus it ran a 13.4.
All in all awesome night and I'm hooked! Got about 13 passes in. Got a video as well of the 11.80 of someone can tell me how to post it. The time is too blurry to see though

I could have made 50 passes if I wanted. Only about 40-50 cars. Longest wait was ten fifteen minutes waiting for sportsman class. I made 13.

Thanks it was awesome. Car won't give me full power off the rip if it hooks hard. You can hear a faint bog in my vids. The 1-2 shift is softened and so is the 2-3 a bit less. 3-4 shifts lightning quick. I will do flex tune but a nice 93 tune would have given me .2 or so even only gaining 10 hp. Lots of torque management etc built in.

My da was from -100 to about +200. But did have some 15 mph headwind gusts from time to time. Lots of wind in the fall here probably won't be able to avoid it most nights. Hard to compare tracks anyway.
It would be close. I may give you a very slight nod but hard to say. Would be fun close runs that's for sure.

It wasn't even that really. After actually starting to tune it himself he found in the tune where the rev limit wasn't set at 7100 because it needed changed in another place. His car was probably only good for 12.7@113 when they ran.
It's at 7300 now
