The Camaro specific sae dyno sheet can be found online. It read 458 hp iirc
It also has just as much torque with an ls7 matching curve to 4500 rpm. It's not as fat anymore. The a8 is geared well and shifts fast. M6 do good on long rolls.
It is not however as strong as a 392 hemi. Those cars are just a tick behind a 6g but pulling around another 400 lbs. that motor is stout. I ran against one that was lightly modded and also watched him run all night. I only had him by about .2 and 2 mph all night.
He actually just went 11.77@116 with a bit better conditions than I had at Milan for my 11.68 run.
Car has DR. Tazer. Hellcat air box with filter pulled and one gallon of vp109 mixed with 3-4 gals of 93.
Nothing on the Camaro is first year for the most part. Even the chassis is a widened/altered ats derivative. A8 second year. Lt1 3rd year.
The a8 is also cooled more effectively than the vette. Extra coolers and better cooling in Camaro packaging. People have been tracking the a8 ss and had not many problems
You gonna give me bad mojo having to read this all the time
stop it

The Dodge 392 is a very underrated platform, IMO. Not many talk highly of them. I've been pretty impressed with what I've seen locally.
If Dodge would pull their head out of their *** and get that motor in a chassis that weighs as much as a 6G or even the heavier s550, they would almost justify their premium pricing.

Just wish they would get the Challenger on par with the 6G/s550 weight wise. We as consumers would have one hell of a pony car battle. More so than now.

If I could nail my best 60 on that night I might have snuck into the 11.50s.
When I was there with him almost no wait. He ran a best of 11.98@114 to my 11.80@116. I also raced him once and I lost. It was my very first pass in the car and was not trying cut a quick light. Tires were not aired down or heated properly. Blew the tires off and bogged after the 1-2 shift hooked.
We both ran terrible that run with 2.1-2.2 60fts. I passed him right at the line I ran 12.58@115 to his 12.8@113. I actually have it on vid on my youtube channel if you search Troy Rombyer you'll see it in my videos.
His name is carl. Cdahl something or other on challengertalk. It's a 15 Scat pack challenger a8 green. He looks about my age 30 or so nice guy.
What kind of times do you run at Milan in good air?

Easy money for sure. I have no clue why he won't race for a large sum of dinero. If anything, I'm being quite the charitable ****.
Those are two of the mods, yes.

Earlier you said that my car is slow and the cwarta races further proved that. Now you say that I should easily beat you and that you're being a "charitable ****"? I'm not sure which is more hilarious, the fact that you think that's not completely retarded, or that you think you can out smart me with bullshit like that.
You're just a ****, nothing more.
