Not being biased but the 6g is about the most impressive car I've had. Can't wait til mine is up and going. I just decided to wait and go fbo + cam and blower instead of slapping my trans in with headers and tune. Might be a little bit but I'm dying to see the end result.

I'm just going to say, that with 415 rwhp as an average stock new dyno, the new LT1 as has 475 up not 455. The boss has a TRUE 444 HP. SAE STANDARD RANDOM engine test.
Chevy thinks it's funny to lie about power.
That is why the heavier SS pulls away even with the boss revving out. It's like having a 392hemi in a lighter car.

My guesstimate is about this time next year a 20-30k miled 6g should be down to 24-26k ranhe.

Marc definitely pick one up. The lt1's have been out since 2013 in the stingrays without any major mechanical issues. The 6g's without a doubt will start to drop in prices (used) as the wow factor wears off (which has actually begun already). They can take a beating and are a blast to drive. It's a poor mans C7 in all actuality, I ran a stock C7 from 50 to 130 and nosed him 3 different times by 1/2 a fender. He was A8 and I'm manual.

Agreed on the "poor man's" Vette part. Camaro has always been like that.

Lt1 had big problems. A8 had problems its first year. Just looking at history of cars in general and especially GM products, I am very hesitant to buy the first year. Sometimes the first two years.
