Biggest fight is stripping off all the emissions bullshit. Installing them is no big deal.

There is some quick ls guys here just most are not in SRK lol.

If you come up to NED this summer let me know, I'm about 20 min from the dragway. If everything goes good this winter I will be a lot lighter, but then have to put a cage in so I can go to the track, restall my converter, new rings as you know I broke a ring 20 min after I put the new turbo on. And hopefully a retune, are you anywhere near slowhawk? Is he as good as everyone's says?

All I need to known is how to hop in, let off the brake and be faster than you. So far so good.

Given your abilities you'd best stick to that too?

I'd say so. The end result seems to favor me.

Looks to me like it helps your 60' but I'm not sure. I don't know much. Maybe that's how to get a 1.2x?

Makes a little more sense. CAI does quite a bit for the LT1, I know on the Bbody it's good for around 10-15RWP, and the catback would add some as well. Still 105MPH for an incredibly mild bolt on LT1 is good.

Again, some ran strong and some didn't. My 93 formula ran like a bat outta hell, but my 97 didn't. I've seen some C4 corvettes trap 104 stock, but mine damned sure didn't.

K&N and SLP are best CAI for LT1s. The work well.

yea not bad for mid summer heat...it ran that mph all afternoon. It did not ET for **** on stock good year GSC's...lol. 2.2 60ft. I wish I had went FBO with that car, I think it could of went bottom 12's full weight. Instead I threw a P1sc on it and it trapped like 119 on 7psi. Still pretty quick car for circa 2002.

Good to know I did well. I just installed the SLP one with a friend on his 95 Z28. I had heard moroso had a nice one as well, and a lot of people swear by the SLP lid setup

Better watch out for them LT1's. Especially with solid roller cams and full bolt on's including 1.7 rockers.

The GMPP one they sold for years was a reboxed SLP with different color tubes as well. I have seen LT1 guys go with LS type lids but I don't know how good that works on them. I am going to swap my lid for some tubes in the front. I need to figure out how to make it work with ac. I am going to get rid of the latch it seems like

Guys claimed 2 tenth gain and 2 mph with a lid setup over the standard LT1 cai. This was a big thing about 6-7yrs ago.
