More news on the car. I just weighed it with the stock tires and an 1/8th of a tank. It was 3,900 even. So that puts my race weight around 3,840. Pretty hefty. I guess I have to stop working out and go on a diet. There are other issues I am going to address with the car before the next outing. I need to check on the rear end. Feels like the breaks are on under power. But it has felt like that for quite some time. Maybe I should have been nicer to the trans and rear during the break in. I really wish I could have gotten my act together and cracked 10's. Then this would be a long thread LOL.

4 of us were actually as fast or faster than him. Untuned. But sadly maybe me and one other are going to stay NA. They gonna bolt on a SC and or don't want to tune.
I'll post my results in the spring. I got coated kooks longtubes with off-road connection pipes coming. Got the flex kit ordered. Need to buy a laptop and hptuners still. The guy he works with that help him tune this car will be tuning mine. I should be bottom 11 minimum. 10s would be nice but I'm not banking on it. Headers aren't a massive gain on these cars and I'm not sure how my track compares to his.
And no. Lots of guys haven't been trying with similar setup. One of the guys is a manual with stock tires in huge DA. Another didn't tune for e85 just opened the tables. This can be duplicated. Guaranteed. This is just like every other 6g argument in the past. First denial. Then it's a hero. Then will be sales or comparisons to cars with more mods that they downplay

I also hate to mention that the C6Z is not a better car. It may be lighter and make more power when done correctly but it is a plastic rattle box. I have built five so far that are all over 600rw N/A. I have another that will be out in a week or two that should go 630-640rw N/A. Three of the stock blocks have been shot when I got them and all five have had heads that were on their way out. For fit and finish, ride quality, and a bunch of other stuff the 6Gen is a much better car. Now the C7 Vette is a whole other ball game.
