Default Turbo 3rd gen vs Turbo Honda

Hit the local 1/8th mile for some data-logging. Street trim, no front runners, a little over 1/2 tank of gas. Wanted to baseline with 6 psi before turning up the boost.

1st pass launched at 3500, dead hooked and bogged. Took 2nd gear up to 6500 but couldn't shift into 3rd(locked-out). Aborted run.

2nd pass, I figured I would launch more aggressively but shift early to ensure a full pass. 4500 2 step, spun 1st and 2nd short-shifted(5600-5800 rpm) and even threw it into 4th before the 1/8th mile

Picked up my time slip but was asked to give up my wristband for no roll-bar. Didn't even get a chance to turn up the boost

11.4-11.8 afr getting dialed in for low boost.

Sweet pass man! That mph says it's got a ton left in it once you fix the little bugs

I have my brother's 28x10 inch slicks that I'll run next time. If I get my 60 ft back down to 1.5s it should get me a 6.7s on the same boost.

Goal is 6.50s@108mph with 10-12 pounds of boost.

great build and good run. Same basic goal as me. I am just getting it on the road, so a long ways from 11.5 AFR.

A man needs boost these days. Everything that counts is coming from the factory with REAL turbo power. Your car runs great. Enjoy it man.

I'm only running 7 psi with one intake valve runner open

Thanks. I'm enjoying the "high-compression" small turbo build. Instant spool and roasts the nitto drags going 100+ mph.

Wondering if the 18 inch ET S/S drag would last long enough or if I should just go with a 15 inch set up.

IMO 15" gives you sidewall. Also 15" opens the door for using coker tires. There are some really nice drag/street tires in 15". When I wear out the 295/50-15's in changing to coker n-50/15 pro-trac Mickey Thompson SS .

My first car was a fire breathing 92 RS 305 tbi. They always have a place in my left ventricle. Keep up the good work !

Solid runs! Id say it definitely has mid 6s in it. Im hoping for 6.70s on pump gas before I go to E85.

Thanks guys.

I'm trying to get a roll race with a ZR1. I'm going to need a drag radial that'll hold some brake boost to stand a chance.

Very sweet 3rd gen Cyber, love the car. Good luck working out the ticks and getting it dialed in.
