Turbo 3rd gen vs Turbo Honda
Hit the local 1/8th mile for some data-logging. Street trim, no front runners, a little over 1/2 tank of gas. Wanted to baseline with 6 psi before turning up the boost.
1st pass launched at 3500, dead hooked and bogged. Took 2nd gear up to 6500 but couldn't shift into 3rd(locked-out). Aborted run.
2nd pass, I figured I would launch more aggressively but shift early to ensure a full pass. 4500 2 step, spun 1st and 2nd short-shifted(5600-5800 rpm) and even threw it into 4th before the 1/8th mile
Picked up my time slip but was asked to give up my wristband for no roll-bar. Didn't even get a chance to turn up the boost
11.4-11.8 afr getting dialed in for low boost.

Nice!
I like the turd gen, especially with a turbo.

A man needs boost these days. Everything that counts is coming from the factory with REAL turbo power. Your car runs great. Enjoy it man.
I'm only running 7 psi with one intake valve runner open

IMO 15" gives you sidewall. Also 15" opens the door for using coker tires. There are some really nice drag/street tires in 15". When I wear out the 295/50-15's in changing to coker n-50/15 pro-trac Mickey Thompson SS .
