Actually, that was a real track and they were running 1/4 mile. We just let out at the 1/8th mile to check the plugs. The timeslip below shows it to have coasted through the second 1/8th faster than your car will ever run. Your mouth however would be the fastest thing on this forum if you could get it to quit going in the same small circle. Redferry.

It's actually a 5.7x car but at 2200 lbs. You want to be safer than sorrier when you are setting the car up and trying many things. The car was spinnng pretty good out of the hole and we were making moves to correct that. I just bought the car and this was our first time out with it. The wheelie bars came off the next day. As far as the big tires go, 5.80 index racing is not a bragging game like no prep or grudge racing. It's a show up, run 5.801 with a .00 light and scoop up the cash game.

LOL! I understand the macho standing but that's why I have many different cars. My favorite car to race by far is my 90' Camaro and my goal is to leave on a small tire and leave some paint off the back bumper at the line. I don't really give a rat's *** what the ET/MPH is in that car.

Yes. Index racing is where it's at when they have them so the ideal bracket car can also run 5.80 index races. That is the most common index around the gulf coast. There are some 6.60 and some 7.0 indexes but not as many. Bracket racing is just one of the main things that keeps our tracks open.
