There is no Eaton SC sound. Although the motor's sound was intoxicating (in a very good way).
As much as I like catfishes and LS motors, comparing it to a stock LS1 is plain silliness. Lol

Comparing half the power band to another cars full powerband is silly. Saying that the car is gutless below 4k rpm is just not true.

There's that reading comprehension thing again. Here, let me spell this out for you. Overlay a stock GT350 dyno against a stock LS1 dyno. Until ~4000RPM, the LS1 is either above or equal to the 5.2. AT NO POINT did I say ANYTHING about comparing the LS1's peak numbers to the low RPM numbers of the 5.2, YOU DID. I fully understand that the engine was built for high RPM performance, but as a result, low RPM torque suffered. Do you understand that yet?

I also trap higher than gt350's through a loose *** converter, banging the limiter on every shift lol, so ya...I make more way more power.

I don't see how you think there is no low end torque then. Driving in, and riding in it; that's the first thing I noticed. I went in fully thinking that it would feel like a turd down low and it definitely surprised me. I've driven PD blower cars too, and it still didn't feel "gutless" down low.

This. Cat deletes/e85 really woke this thing up too. I did a few 2-3rd gear pulls and damn, it was fun. Really made me want one, just cant justify the price of one.
I was impressed with the car as well. Steering feel, how it cruised, the power delivery was all above what I expected. The sound too... Omg the sound. I couldn't get enough of it.

I own a 14' 100 and also have driven a 350 (with my lady and another big guy as passengers).
At no point, did it feel "gutless". Not at 1k rpms not a 2k, 3k or so on.

The only complaint I had (if any), would be that the recaros are made to fit lady-boys or teenage like men. The bolsters would dig right into your shoulders and thighs, making the seats very uncomfortable. My girl was comfy tho!

But if you think the 350 is lame down low, surely there be no way they could drag an LS7 down the dragstrip...

How does torque below 4500 rpm affect their trap speed at all? I don’t see below 6k when WOT.
