I would do the same thing if I were sick of racing in my neck of the woods! Sometimes it's not about the money, just about busting *** and having fun.

The thing is a monster and it's a real street car too! I watched him drive from the way north side of Houston to the south side for an event, drive back later at night, swap the 20s for a drag pack and pull tire on an unprepped road like it was nothing.
