I just watched this that C63 is a beast for just tune and headers . I fell bad for the ss all that money and couldn’t beat a simple bolt on car lmao

That AMG costs around 70k. I wouldn’t feel too bad for that SS.

You guys need to check the year model amg he is racing . That’s a 25-30k car looks like a 2009-11 model so like I said impressive for a car with just headers and tune to beat a cammed ls3 .

When do cam and converter there is a lot of added cost,springs,tune etc.

Yeah in all honesty with snowballing parts doing exhaust cam converter can end up about $2k

Poor S550. out of its league. poor slow pig heavy mustang. it probably makes good crankshaft hp but wastes it in the drivetrain and 2 ton weight. i hate that ******* platform .a bunch of dumbasses designed that car.

S550s are getting fat for sure. Mustangs were supposed to be light cars so not sure where Furd is going with this.
Like I said in a previous thread, Ford will have to put the S550 on a diet next year much like GM did with the 6th Gen Camaro.

SS did pretty good needs to do an lsa top end. Pretty even weight Wise with the c63.

i like the look of s550 over s197 etc. But ya the added weight sux. Hopegully ford will drop some again.

Agree , my car is a rolling tank topping at 4k lbs could've been such a badass platform at 3600 lbs still heavy but not the 2 ton of steel .
