Whipple 5.0 vs Procharged 5.0

I saw that race with the 03 Cobra on Youtube. What I cant understand is how he ran him down on the big end since the Cobra is putting down more Hp/Trq and I believe is a little lighter in weight. Not sure if the DA played a part or was the Cobra not really putting that kind of power down. From what I read, the Cobra was still on the stock Heaton so those numbers might be a little high.

bolt on 6g manual beat him about the same.
They both claim to have seen the dyno sheet so idk. The cobra is a manual so there’s that. The shifts look decent enough but maybe too early or something

For the race between the 2018 and 03 Cobra, when both were at their final gear, the lighter car with more Hp/Trq should not get pulled.
The Cobra had an approximate Hp/lbs ratio of ~520/3650=.1424 where the 2018 has a ratio of ~475/3700=.1283
Just having a hard time with that since the number tell a different story. The claimed numbers seem a bit high for the Cobra especially since he still has the stock Eaton. If I had to estimate, that Cobra is not making more than 460Hp.
Just my humble opinion but I could be wrong.

Hey buddy. Sure man.. your car runs strong. Bit busy now but when free will let Carlos know & we'll set a meet up. Sure. That's fine. Think it's a good idea to go from your strong point then my strong point to see if any difference. 35mph is good. My strongest point is about 40-45mph.

it was cloudy, sun didn’t really come up, so road was still damp, right lane being worse than left. Took us about 7-8 tries to get those clean runs. Digs would’ve been a bad idea, also adding that people on that road are normally going 80+mph.
