So now you think this ls7 was in a c6z? Sounds right for what I'd guess a stock one to trap. An f-body & it was not light.

Do you think your car could trap 130 down here?

Yes i do. I see no reason it wouldn't if it went 130 in 2200da do you

a ls7 should easily do 130 in a fcar if my ls6 does 130 in a fcar don'tya think........and that was pre the latest mods. I was looking for it to go 132+ before i broke it. Maybe even as much as 134.

So are you expecting round 140mph with new mods?

No....i already said 132+. Now the only difference is a little head work. Probably wont make a huge difference. I would be happy if it picked up 15whp off the minor bowl blend/compression bump.

but there are other changes that coukd drive mph up to as much as 135. The duggy box ram air should be worth 2-3. Vacuum pump typically nets 1mph. Rocket fuel over pump gas probably around 2 mph. 100lb less weight maybe even more another mph. Better aero ??? Who knows. 30lb less rotating weight ?? Who knows. Remember it ran 130ish at 417whp. It made 451 last time on the dyno but never got ran at that. I'll be looking for 480+ now .

So just the low side of the things you stated 6mph. That's not considering the head work/compression bump. Also the 1.9 rockers. You should be getting close to 140.

Yea 1.9s to. If i get 1/2 of what i stated it should go 132+. Could it potentially go 135....maybe. wouldn't be the first ls6 to hit 135. But that one had no head work but was in a better car.

So as you've trapped 130-131 "bolt on" now your only expecting 132+ from all those mods?. No more bolt on territory for you either. Stock cam with 1.9 rockers though. Should've stayed "crate motor" bolt on.

I should have. It's more fun for me. I know i can go faster h/c. That's not a issue.

Yup stock cam....bolt ons plus head work. Jaik was gonna send me his 540whp llsr cam. I already was done with the heads and didn't feel like redoing them or i may have went for the record. The car has been apart enough the last few years....just ready to drive it and sort out a couple other things. It makes plenty of power.

looks like i need to port my intake manifold so i can keep in front of your dyno numbers. following your ricer math logic, i should be at 480/430 STD with just a porting job on it. then i will beat your torque number also.

#exhaust cam only coyote owns your Heads/intake/rocker ls6.

all that without bending any valves for me lol
