This car probably makes 470rw or so like the rest. Nothing special. It is well driven and set up. I have done a ton of other ones and all do the same. Pull some weight out, get the porting and tuning correct and nail your shift points with the stock trans tune and they run. Now if I could get after this trans then it would run much harder.

How much additional time and cost on average goes into a full on trans tube with tcm removed?

Looking at the vid again the zl1 nose drops quite a bit on shifts looks like a manual with mediocre driving. It also has a passenger. An on point bolt on E85 ss a8 such as this should win no doubt

the gtr really has me puzzled though. Last time at the track I seen one running 10.3-4 all night at 134 mph. That’s too much for a bolt on ss

The GTR owner was confused as well and asked where the bottle was. Everyone there combed over the car and couldn't find anything out of sorts. I can't wait to get my H/C package on there.

I agree the ZL1 was poorly driven and had a passenger.

A 26" tire would help for sure. That 28" tire isn't helping the gearing situation. But I don't know what that will do to their run MPH's though.

Maybe by bolt on GTR they mean stock with an intake? If that GTR has any kind of decent bolt ons then that 6th gen is either the fastest bolt on 6th gen by a huge margin or hes forgotten to mention all mods.

gtr is what is truly off. Them cars have been bottom 10s and upper 130s. And they run like high 9 roll cars on the street.

I'm guessing basically stock GTR. Need Heads/Cam to run with a bolt-on GTR.

I was told the GTR was around 600rw and has gone high 10's at the track. That is all I know about it.

Reaper has vids of him taking out Hell Cats as well. I don't know what else to tell you guys. My FBO cars are all capable of high 10's at 126 or so in good weather. They will show out this winter.

I guess the proof for everyone will be when we get the H/C package on this car sometime in the near future.

Some of you guys have run with Poppacap's GS. Race weight for that thing is a little over 3,600lbs and went 10.80's at 127+ with the stock ported IM/TB. Not sure of Reapers final weight but I would bet it is right around 3,650.

So are these TM files that unlock huge power in manual cars also?

Ultra how do you think your car would perform vs a pray tuned car?

There is some in the M6 cars. It is also the way you set up the VT and shift recovery tq and timing. There are improvements to be had. There are three or four things that effect these new DI motors. People just don't understand how the system works for the most part yet. What is not being taken into consideration is the difference in tracks and weather conditions when comparing the times people have run.

I helped Ultra out with his initial tuning and ported products. He has since moved on. A lot of these cars are now copy and paste. I have shared every ounce of information I have found with these things over the last two years or so. Why some picked up on it and others didn't I am not sure. I am pretty positive I have had a hand in all the fast bolt on and H/C cars out there right now.

I was going to have a couple cars at the Fall Brawl I and a fried are hosting but we had to change the date so my cars are out for now.

His car has ported heads IIRC.
