Default 6th Gen owner

Hey guys! I'm Drew the 6th Gen owner I skimmed thru most of these comments so il just address a few 1st of all there has been no bad social media about the owner of the 5.0 I'm actually in a whatsapp group with him he's a cool guy in person, secondly me and the 5.0 ran multiple times 20-130, 30-130 40-140 50-150, 35-140 45-145 and I won 90% of the races from a 35 roll he gets me everytime not a excuse but at 35mph I'm like 800 rpm away from shifting and the second I floor it I bounce Rev but REGARDLESS he gets me from that roll nothing I can do, most of the 40-140 I won but here and there he would win one since obviously I would bounce Rev by accident or not put it in drive fast enough just like the 5.0 did some races. The 50-150 I win clean and the 45-145ish is a pretty good race by 145ish his front fender is by my rear tire real close. Reason I brake when I react the agreed mph is because I don't wanna be one of the those douchebags that turns on the hazards in a "im cocky" fashion lol, I'm sure pray mentioned it before but my mods are pray ported stock mani/tb, intake/headers/exhuast and e85 everything else on my Car is stock down to the shift **** lol and yes off course I had a full dragpack on like the 5.0 owner did my rears where 305/45/17 in the rear 28 inches tall. Me and the 5.0 do plan on running again in addition to another 5.0(black) who swapped a 18' motor/tranny into a 15 mustang gt this particular 5.0(black) Is fbo e85 and i heard has gears I did run him later that same day under wet conditions and was spinning like crazy and he got me, he initially tried saying he's the new "daddy" but that got shutdown real quick due to the roads being wet and Leo(white 5.0) from the video beating him by 2 cars. But yes leo is hands down the fastest 5.0 in south Florida right now he has literally beat every other 5.0 and plentyyyyy of other cars, the guy your referring to who use to be the fastest is gus, his car is currently down but it probably going to get cams and what not so thats a whole different story

Get a 26 drag pack 315/35/17 Hoosier and a ported msd Intake. You are going to need it. Just my experience and I’ve had very good results. Good luck

Once my tires run out il buy the 315/35/17 mickey street r, initially I planned on doing converter, ds, and all the other go fast mods for my car for the track but I realized quickly 95% of miami does not like doing dig races people go out there gutted, full dragpack and ask for u to do 50 rolls so I have to adjust to that and go a different route with more mods, right now I'm just saving up some money and once my tires wear down il get the new size, then talk to pray about which mods in what order would be the best route, for now I enjoy my car man I never expected to have even stood a chance against a new 18 fbo auto 10 speed mustang on c85 and dragbrakes, I was like a kid in a candy store after racing him but I'm humble as well I rarely post on miami street races I just lay low and race here and there, I just like the. Fact I was able to represent pray and chevy in a good way 😎 we do plan on rerun the 23rd weather permitting and doing digs-120, 20-120, 30-130, 40-140 and 50-150 so it's a bunch of rolls/races in addition to one of the Fastest h/c fbo camaros down there joining us, I do this for fun, never expected to be this big in the scene down here lol

Skip the mickeys. They don’t hook quite as well and are a lot heavier. The Hoosier is also a bit shorter. 315/35/17 Hoosier in rear with a light bias ply 26 tall Hoosier front runner is what you want. Run it at 45 psi to decrease rolling resistance. Set all shift points at 6500 with the ported msd. That will be the fastest combo.

car runs good way to represent

Yep that’s it for the rear. The front bias ply Hoosier is almost twice as light as a radial. It’s like 11 lbs vs 20. But they don’t roll quite as smooth as a radial. Pumping them up to 45 will help a bit.

as you probably know that combo won’t last long on the street. Use it for trips to Mexico

on the street the rear likes about 30 lbs. but for racing 16-18 lbs is optimal if you are having trouble hooking. You just don’t want to drive all around on them at 18. I woukd start at 30 for the rolls and got to 18 for the digs

Out of the nine runs I would call this meet up a tie. 3-3. One tie & the rest eh as mero is letting off. The first & second run are def W for mero. On the second run you can clearly see the mero gets the hit. Or crew guys call it jump. The third run is def a stang win as he passes the mero before he lets off. The fourth run is another W for the stang. As he gets the hit on this one & the mero barely even gets ahead at all. And the stang is in front before he lets off. 2-2. The fifth run I call a tie as the mero pulls out a lil more than a car & the stang starts to reel him back in. As the stang is about to pass him, next to him, he lets off. I call this one a tie. The next race I give to the stang. This is the one the mero clearly lets off early. As he knows he would have been drove around. Then another definite W from the mero. 3-3. Then of coarse the rest: mero pulls out, gets pulled back, but lets out before he's passed. This is the street guys. Not the track. Should meet up there too.

I call it a tie. Both cars are awesome & have their strong spots. Great runs!.

This was not a tie at all lol there were other runs he didn't post because we got so many in, like I said if we race 10 times I win 7-8, on clean runs, 20/30 im outttt 40 it's a good race, almost a drivers race which is still impressive because I'm at a8 he is an A10 which is a better transmission, 50 I'm outttt and 35 he wins period I have no answer for his 35 lol we didn't dig so I can't comment on that but we will soon!
