Default First SD kill. C5z06 vs 5.br0

So I was on my way back from the hoonigan spring burnyard event (first car was a 2017 mustang that went headfirst into a wall rough to see such a nice car do that) was on my way back to San Diego from irwindale raceway and noticed a coyote following me. Had a lot of open freeway and saw him switch lanes in my rear view. Heard the pedal get mashed he had an exhaust for sure and my windows were open. Found third by the time he was at my door (ricer fly by smh). And to my surprise dead stopped his momentum at 70 ran it up to around 130 flat footing 3rd to 4th in this car for the first time was a blast. Looked like a 2015 or so from the headlights. Tried to line up again and honk it off with camera on but he had none of it wouldn't go again .
So heres a quick video of a chevelle roasting em at the burnyard ended a great day with a good kill.

That chevelle giviner the what for.

The only 5br0 that should give a c5z any problem is a 2018 a10 car. Good run

Yeah I'd love to run a 18. I just didnt expect to stop his momentum so instantly tbh was a nice surprise. How much rpm do you think the heavier valves on an 01 bring down what a "safe" rpm is? It pulls hard to the stock redline but haven't bumped it up yet cause I've been trying to figure that out

Idk really. I know the 02-04 has been to 7300-7400. I would think 7k would be fine. Throw a set of psi1511 springs on it. Be a good idea anyway on a engine that old now. There has been a few Ls6 valve springs break. I consider valve springs a consumable.....especially on aggressive cam engines.

No surprise here. Even a stock 2 decade old c5z will walk a new bolt on 5br0 pretty hard.

Yeah I just have the zip tie mod and my own amateur tuning right now. Have a nitrous kit in my room waiting for a nozzle and bottle brackets for some fun.

2nd gear in those cars with stock rev limit is done at 73mph. They have the wide ratio t56.

I didnt know street races were ran in 10s 🤔
But I mean stock 18 GT are running 11.8s with the a10 right? They were some c5z stock doing 11.7s and 11.8s almost twenty years ago says something for how well the c5zs have held up I'd say. But yeah Bolton a10 to stock not gonna fair well but m6 to m6 Bolton to stock c5z drivers race for sure which says so much for the coyote
