when there are class rulez limiting the terbo used, all things are even. the only difference is the rpm range. if everyone is using the same 88, and that 88 can support a pressure ratio that will allow a smaller engine to match airflow, its a setup and innovation that wins.

It’s like every week an update from Lund on Instagram for another 18-19 Mustang running 8’s.
Crazy impressive to me, maybe only me but damn son!
Look at the 60’ and it’s says stock motor.

With so little traffic lately I figured I’d post it up but not looking to start a debate
It’s like every week an update from Lund on Instagram for another 18-19 Mustang running 8’s.

are you kidding me...HIO out 60' that and has a stock untouched from oil pan to valve covers. and he did it with 417 rwhp. so in other words, that 19 is crap and slow.

Capping boost pressure would be a away of keeping things even from a engine standpoint. But then a furd wouldn't be competitive at all.

...The cylinder pressure or boost won't be the same for every motor tho.
No one said it was? But LS does seem to give up way early for most people. So there's that I guess.

60' has way way more to do with traction and car reaction than power. .....like way way way more. Most cars like that aren't even using full power out the gate because of the tire. I figured erryone knew this by now.
