Last I knew ls had went 5s as well

Didn’t the ls get to 5s faster by a year or two considering the modular came out in like 1990?

4v started in 1993 and ran 5s in 2015. 5.88@245.xmph
LS started in 1997 and ran 5s in 2018. 5.97@243.xmph

PS. multiple mod motors have run deeper 5s than the LS.....LS has lots of work to do to even match the mod motor accomplishments.

I don’t care enough for 8s, let alone 5s lol. But if GM guys reach far enough they’ll get a W somehow lol.

I’m not the one who brought up running 5s. Or this entire conversation on 8 second and faster. Which is mostly in light of basic na 6gens running 9s. But I’m reaching deep huh?

But I must say bringing up how long it took this motor vs another to get to 5s from their creation is...very silly. To put it nicely.

I was posting all that as I was researching noting more - doesn’t matter what I post you guys will argue

I was originally looking into current (2011-2019) built 5-6th gen vs built coyote and I believe the built coyote had faster cars

No need to argue just researching - was bored
