I just don’t like the heat soak of the hi ram. And the fitment sucks. The price power looks and 7500+ rpm are all great tho

I’d like to know how much it’s worth over an msd when heat soaked on the street. Guys who are running the hi ram definitely reporting they slow down after hot. My msd is pretty consistent pass after pass

I could see with how big that monstrosity is, it probably pulls all the heat from the engine and rises right to the top of the manifold where air is traveling. Anyone ever try running composite spacers between the heads and intake to aid in heat transfer? I run them in two of my cars. Vette and neon.

Ps... I’ve heard that’s like the 3rd transmission no bs

and why are they choosing to be SBE (if true) when others are not at that power level ? To prove a point? To sell parts ? It wouldnt be my car that’s for sure
MP builds all platforms so I’m sure they threw as much boost at it and were waiting for the engine to go but it didn’t. Very impressive

Im not sure but I thought about that too.

would a thermal coating be of any benefit ? Or maybe that would trap more heat be worse ?

Idk how the heat soak affects the lod on phils cars. 8 would think it's minimal tho for it or the high ram. Especially since they extend the power range by about 1000 rpm.

More lies...i just made some good passes in my mustang.

Just think....as many years ago that the camaro wentv10s makes it that much more impressive. Yall still cryin over those old times. You wouldn't have wanted to see the new times. Bolt ons and na got you all ruffled. Not to mention with a stick. You sold your 13sec stick car that was supposed to run 12s.....good job idiot.

Rug is all about 8s now, as if pointing out what a platform can do means you have to do it
Meanwhile he runs 2 11 sec engine swapped cars. Where the fahq did he go wrong??

Poor rug.

Guys, what’s fastest 5th or 6th gen compared to the Coyotes? Serious question - only one if these is factory motor and that’s not what I’m posting for - if you build the engine and trans on 5th/6th who is faster?

I think LMR has a 7sec C7 with 2 power adders IIRC but I’m trying to know about heavier Camaro to compare

Low 11s seems pretty good for anything she owns. Pretty proud of her accomplishments!

No idea I don't track my car.

Here is a 40-150 pull in Mexico last night.

I was out playing with a few cars last light but didn't get it on video. There was a 2015+ M3 with tune and exhaust out racing. He ran my old 4th gen and a couple other cars. I was lagging behind the M3, let them hit, then I hit, jumped over a lane and went around the M3 like nothing. Sat him back a couple bus lengths by the top of my 5th. The M3 beat my old H/C 4th gen by a couple cars and it's a bottom 11 car.

That's all I got for now.

Fastest 5th gen (faster than 6th gens) I can find is 7.68 @ 178

See if you guys can find any faster - not taking about lexan windows and steel tube frame cars -

i watched Justin at JPC run 8.0x at bowling green with a stock block 2011GT. he ran 12 or 14 psi centri. 804+ rwhp. he ran it all season and sheared all of the 8.8 ring gear bolts on the line qualifying. manual trans.

i helped push it back to his pit. he didnt have parts to run eliminations. NMRA world finals bowling green.

the entire engine was stock. never entered.
