Also Multimatic GT is the worst sounding car over $60K and far and above the worst sounding car in GTLM in the last 4 years. C8.R scared the GT, so they retired from GTLM and won't be racing next year.

My first car was a straight six 67 mustang and i got it so its slow *** would barely beat my buddies 65 mustang 289 lmao highschool was fun all my money went into cars and I had no idea what I was doing. Planned on slapping a wrx turbo and blowthrough carb, but guy ran a stop sign and got me before I ever could.

So insane to think that video is almost a decade old. Still very much relevant too, all new cars are getting bland, automated, and fat cookie cutter cars. Its a shame the new vettes are so heavy.

Can not wait to see a C8 at a private track rental in MIR in the winter. I am sure mid to high 10s is doable. Atco and Cecil you will get the MPH but with Jason prep you get the ET at MIR

I can’t see a mid ten totally stock but who knows. Only if the motor is truly under rated. Car is heavy. But if it’s truly certified under the new sae standard it makes 495 give or take 1%

Vids like that is why i like bolt ons vs wholesale engine changes when someone can't drive anyway. Ranger and robz had a good handle on vettes and shared alot of info.

I won't be surprised if it dynos over 500 definitely not the numbers motortrend is advertising but solid numbers over 500hp.

My 2v must have been a royal pile of ****. It lost to stock IS300's. A 100 shot and all the gearing in the world wouldnt have been enough to take on a bolt on LS car much less a HCI car.

Agreed...I think the C8 is more optimized from the factory hence why it's 0-60 is so good. I could see a high 10 on a DR but mid 10's seems like a stretch.
