Albeit rebuilt my furd is rebuilt. But rebuilt to stock. It no doubt has far better manners than his turd that likely don't really bust a 11.

its not really a "bolt on car" if you've swapped the engine and then added bolt ons. I cant drop a LS9 full bolt on into my Fbody and call it a bolt on car.

I didn't call it a bolt on car. I called it a bolt on engine. Which is why i never tried to get on the bolt on list......of which i have mentioned many times.

In the case of my notch. It's still in a fox chassis isn't it? 03 cobro was a fox chassis right?? Technically it could be a bolt on car i suppose. Be no different than some dude sra swapping a 03 cobro. Same k member to i think. Might be a small insignificant difference but more or less the same.

But i call it a bolt on engine because of full discretion. Now ask snail what his return trips to the track netted him.....you know....out of full discretion.

But....his junk wouldn't run run with the bolt on cars either.

So if you put a bolt on ls9 in a fcar.....it would still be a bolt on ls9 would it not?

I concede this conversation to Mr. Technicality. I just dont have that kind of time.

Again.....I'm not the one that called it a bolt on car. You are.

Would a 93 camaro with a 2002 ls1 in it with mild bolt ons be considered a bolt on car??

maybe mid 11's now? That's pretty fast, think a h\c 4.8 could beat you in a fbody?

Contrary to rug's ignorant ramblings, my car is about 3140 without me so 3380 with me. I don't think a heads/cam 4.8 would beat me but then again I don't know f-body guys who would lose almost a liter of displacement to stay N/A.

3140 with a full tank of fuel maybe. Btw 3140 is a pretty light car. It probably don't weigh that. Ive weighed them. They can easily go under 3000 and still have iron heads. Now maybe you're to dumb to get it there.....or you're lying. And we all know how you lie.

So you gonna tell the class your real track times? Maybe you should average them

I run their 6 piston Aluminum super lights for fronts, and 4 piston rears on my 4th gen.

Had to remove the 4 channel ABS though, the rear parking brake wouldn't clear the reluctor wheel for the speed sensors.

I have 3 channel abs. So that wouldn't affect me. Did that set up save weight or offer better braking??? Or both?

I have eradispeed rotors. I was mainly looking for a more economical replacement. The rears are pretty much normal. The fronts have aluminum hats. They offer good braking but get used up pretty quick. Really those rotors bite hard af.

The Camaro stops like a champ. Worst part is pad kick back when you're really hustling it. Just gotta stay on top of that.

Islander033 - car looks SHARP!! Nice work.

Deliverance banjo player - I have no need to cut hood hinges or Swiss cheese other parts of the car, rug. It's from 1985 so it doesn't need to be any less safe. I think you're just too embarrassed to admit you know **** all about making a 302 run. Long story short is it didn't take any intentional WR for me to run 11.8 roughly 35rwhp ago with more parasitic loss. That touches a soft spot for you because you need all your cars under 3k or else they're even more unimpressive.

Why don't you do h/c on a 4.8 and put it in an f-body and run me? Technically my car is a 4.9 so it's pretty fair.
