Far cry from “most cam/heads LT1 cars are around 144” but -
Either one of you gents have a reference to an SBE, stock trans LS/LT running faster than 8.64 @ 164?
Then the SBE Coyote running 6.99
@ 197 mph then 200 mph (7.00)
Any stock GM hardware at all faster than that?
Post a link and we’ll all learn something
You’re lost and google claims yet another victim lol stock block means it’s been sleeved, forged crank, rods, pistons. Not even close to sbe. Stock block means that’s all that’s left “stock” if you want to call a sleeved block stock.
Congrats on baby.
Actual stock bottom end 5.3, yes stock rod bolts too. Street car.
Post up any link at all of any sbe, stock trans LS/LT Camaro or Corvette that runs faster than 8.64 @ 164 (Not 5.3 LS S10 drag truck with ARP rod bolts and timing set)
Everyone else, looks like we’re expecting our second child!! Busy week!
Awesome
congrats.
Just because they haven't doesn't mean they can't. Remember nothing less than a ls7 vette went 130+ na with bolt ons till i did it. Did that mean they couldn't? Or did it just mean no one really looked at the situation and tried?

Glad sxc cleared that one up for you.
Go run 8s with yours. I thought you would have done did it by now.
Thank you
One day closer to 8s today
Can’t argue saying eventually an LS/LT will run faster than 8.6 @ 164 with factory motor and trans.

Yeah im not a big fan of that "record". Engine wasnt a SBE pull out, it was a tossed together pile of random OEM parts from different engines. Id like to know what the record for a sbe pull out in a GM bodied/framed vehicle would be.
However seeing the sbe records deep into the 7's just means if my **** is slow I have noone to blame but myself. Lol.

I personally only like to see what the max ability is with the factory hardware
But that’s just me
Id like to know what the fastest LS/LT Camaro or Vette - sbe
