That would be nice most cam/heads lt1 cars are around 144 mph . I hope with the extra displacement to get close to that 150 mph number

Any stock GM hardware at all faster than that?

Post a link and we’ll all learn something
You’re lost and google claims yet another victim lol stock block means it’s been sleeved, forged crank, rods, pistons. Not even close to sbe. Stock block means that’s all that’s left “stock” if you want to call a sleeved block stock.

Congrats on baby.

Actual stock bottom end 5.3, yes stock rod bolts too. Street car.

A block is modified if it's anything other than a standard overbore/rebuild procedures.

Sleeved block is not stock, a gurdled block is not stock, blocks that have been welded on for performance purposes is not stock.

Filled blocks are not really stock either. But closer than a block that has machine work done to live.

Everyone else, looks like we’re expecting our second child!! Busy week!

Awesome

congrats.

Just because they haven't doesn't mean they can't. Remember nothing less than a ls7 vette went 130+ na with bolt ons till i did it. Did that mean they couldn't? Or did it just mean no one really looked at the situation and tried?

Thank you

One day closer to 8s today

Can’t argue saying eventually an LS/LT will run faster than 8.6 @ 164 with factory motor and trans.

Yeah im not a big fan of that "record". Engine wasnt a SBE pull out, it was a tossed together pile of random OEM parts from different engines. Id like to know what the record for a sbe pull out in a GM bodied/framed vehicle would be.

However seeing the sbe records deep into the 7's just means if my **** is slow I have noone to blame but myself. Lol.
