They arent bad. I borrowed one for two weeks before I bought my Tacoma just to compare. Ultimately the wife made the decision because she has RA and was more comfortable in the Taco. But I dont have anything bad to say about the Jeeps.

Of course my gearhead friends all say what mods I should do or plan to do. My C6 mod budget was up to $12k, so I allocated some of that to the Heep. I've already completed the Heep's mod list, which is; front 1/2" leveling spring spacers and Chicago Bears license plate frames. So I put the remaining $11,930 mod list budget into all new windows and doors for the homestead.

Could be worse. Lol. Wife got laid off in August and has yet to get an interview. First thing to go if we have to start losing stuff is the Camaro.

That sucks man. And here mine just finished school and got her RN license this past summer. She's been with her current employer for 18 yrs. Hopefully things look up for yours soon.

Biggest issues with lots of vettes I know, is the drive line.

Tork toob, drive shaft, diff, carrier, axles, ect.....all fragile AF.

Definitely not as big power friendly as other platforms.

That said, minor bolt-on C7 ZR1 in 4 digit power is doing well on stock driveline.

Seems like C7 is a bit stronger than C6 and below. But there was a 9s C7Z that recently wrecked the rear at Mission.

Cool that there was a 9s C7Z at Mission, but I still agree there are better platforms to go that quick without as much hassle in the driveline.

Only thing we've seen on phil's was the driveshaft bent. Pretty good imo for the abuse it took. Bearing in the trans took a ****....but anything that gets beat on breaks parts.

I really don't know what else out there holds up as well as vette stuff.

That's the one, a nice ford 8.8 or 9 inch would fix a few vette problems.
