Those Porsches ARE serious $... Looks like you were pulling very little on higher end but were losing momentum on the shifts. Still Great Driving!! What are your plans with this car? If going to auto your gonna be fighting traction issues...Those ES porches are running 150 mph in quarter

Got any photos of turbo location and stuff? I'm poor af so just have a shot of nitrous on my c5z but keep trying to dream up ways of twin turbo greatness haha

SERIOUSLY OP.....those are incredible runs. does the setup have more in it, IE adding boost at higher rpms? something to finish off those cars?

u say u are staying manual, BUT i get 4 psi overboost on shift with the auto. that's a LOT different than giving up spool time every time u shift.

if you are determined to stay manual, what is your recirc setup? blowing ALL of your blow-off into ur turbo inlets will help a teenie tiny bit.

seriously unless you really overpower autos, its hard to recover from the compressor rpm loss. its 2019, and i'm NOT a c5 guy, but there are plenty of 65 conversions out there.

aside from that...what turbine housings are you using. just asking....what model of turbo, what turbine specs, what A/R and type(dual scroll or open dump) exhaust housing?

i'm asking because if you are going to stay a manual, and let's say you wanna run 93 gas like me, you have boost limits.

im not acting like i know something. but. a dual scroll twin setup with TRI-Y feeding each opening, will vastly improve spool.

my single is a open dump T4. im a auto.

one LAST thing....if you know the rpm you drop to, a window switch and a 75 shot will eliminate the drop off. there is no shame in using a small shot with a window to not only reduce the loss while the turbo re-spools, AND reduces lag.

consider the shot IMO. remember a ******* who pops every motor he cannot build calls me a "know nothing dumbass". he is all knowing

i'm asking because i want to help you **** on those cars.

finding a way to pipe a single in any position is SIMPLE! again, i'm not a vette guy. i choose the FOX and later platforms, NOT because i'm a fan of ford, but because they afford a million combos for cheap.

if a man can plumb and crossover pipe that feeds the hotside of a 76-80mm turbo, and a person can position that turbo where gravity returns feed oil, the majority of the job is done.
it seems to me, that a pair of small turbos in place of the mufflers and a coldside that feeds the MAF directly is a simple solution. that requires a stand alone oil supply.

this is why fords are so easy.

yes, that's a buddy, I was running on gate(5-6psi), made it a good lil sprint. That car moves though, has gone faster than me on the track, but on the street, everyone pretty much has to turn power down.

Not really the intention of my build, it's more to be flexible. I can run almost anyone on the street, unless they're awd, spool and making power isn't my limitation, I only add power as traction allows me too.
I've done the N/A thing, nitrous, single, and now twins on this car. I won't be spraying this setup. I'm not out of turbos.

It's a a huron kit, turbos hug the block and gravity drains in the pain. Nitrous works too, I enjoyed my nitrous setup, it just became expensive and time consuming filling bottles, just find a used F/I kit on the forums, that's the cheapest way to do it. just don't skimp in important place, like fueling and tuning, or you WILL spend money twice.
