Default My first kill!

well, i was heading out for lunch just a while ago, just past midnight....i go to get in my car, and there's this train just going by, pretty fast compared to what they normally do...he was going probably 55MPH.

the place i wanted to go for lunch was in the same direction that the train was going, so i jump in and start in that direction. there's one light on the way there, so i had to stop, but nailed it going thru the intersection. by this time, the train is about 3/4 mile ahead of me, still going about 55. there's no one else on the street at all, and there are very few off-roads (and they all have good side-visibility), so i punch it. i get up to about 115 - 120 and catch up to him pretty quickly (man, i was pullin on him like no one's business... ). there's only about 1/2 mile to go before the crossover, so i keep on it pretty good and get across about 15 - 20 seconds before he goes thru!

ok, so it's technically not a "kill", but it was fun nonetheless!!!

and i can honestly say that i beat a machine with thousands of horsepower in my bone-stock LS1!!

You raced a train that was going at a constant speed of 55mph ?

just so everyone knows, i was not being "serious" about beating a train, i know it's no real accomplishment....just a fun story about me having fun going 115 - 120 to do it....

That's the type of thing I would do, granny shifting all the way up to that speed. Now that you've taken down a train, try to find some slowsta...mustangs to slay! No offense to any mustang owner, just playin on the Camaro vs. Mustang rivalry.

you know, i've been out and about the past few nights, and no one really wants to play....i've only had one guy rev at me with his really, really shitty-sounding raspy exhaust on his Impala-badged Caprice, but traffic was so thick we couldn't do anything, and he ended up turning off before it cleared out.

but i guess it doesn't help that the cops crawl all over this town like cockroaches....
