C6Z is for real.
Even a LS3 C6 with bolt ons is a tough out.

 

Reason I ask is because I had a h/c/I c6z and ran a 10.6 and the t/a ran a 10.9 all motor on race fuel. Figured with 100shot should be close 😨

 

if you had a HCI C6 Z06 and it ONLY ran a 10.6 then either you cant drive or its horribly Tuned its one or the other and i meant NO disrespect either way and yes a HCI and sprayed LS1 A4 stalled car will beat a HCI C6 Z06 with about 95% of the owners driving them .....thats facts and alot of hurt feelings will follow and even more trashed egos for me saying that lol

 

A h/c c6z can be formidable if done right. Problem is most don't do them right .....well....because most don't have a ******* clue.

10.6 for a h/c c6z is ****. 10.6 for a bolt on c6z is ****.

As a comparison lazerlemon and i made his bolt on ls3 c6 run 10.5@132. There were changes that could have been made to make that bolt on combo faster. It was far from maxed out or max effort.

It likely could have with other changes. After all....the motor isn't the only thing going down the track.

changing out the rocker arms doesn't mean it's still a bolt on. Going to a higher ratio changes the lift of the cam.

rocker arm ratio is just a multiplier of the cam lift. Ill post a link to it.

 

 

So in a OHC engine the cam lobe does the opening of the valves it and it has essentially a 1:1 ratio or even a 1.1:1 ratio depending on set up. Thus is why changing out rocker arms means youre not bolt ons.
