98 Z28 vs. Porsche
Well I was cruising around looking for anything to race, and i'm at the stop light. Well coming down the opposite lane is a Porsche just flying and i'm like damn thats awesome about sec later another Porsche comes flyin down after him. At this point i'm like ahhh damn rare enough to see one Porsche but two raciing each other.. So i'm like screw it and my friend is like you better go after them so I hump the median drive across it and give chase. Luckily they both got stopped at the next light on the road. By the time I pull up they start driving again I down shift from fifth to third and stay next to them I throw a couple of revs there way and hit it I go past them hoping they would follow me and the one newer one which my friend said had a rear spoiler that goes up and down depending on how fast you go.. well he gives chase and the other Porsche chases him and we get stopped at the next light which is three lanes wide and all three cars are lined up.. I look into the two cars and there are some mid twenty yrolds driving them.. I look over and said you wanna run those things and the car next to me which was newer and nicer said his second gear is messed up, so I said what about you and he was like alirght so the light is about to turn green and he's jumping out alittle bit giving it revs ready to launch the light turns green and i baby it off the line then punch it my car barely spins and he's at my back bumper for some reason i don't even look at my tach i just go by exhaust sound and race it probably alittle less then a quater mile and he never got any closer then my back bumper I slow down to about 45 and i have it in second he starts to fly up alittle and he gets even and we hit it again, and again he's at my back bumper and stayin untill we hit like 110 and start to go around a wide turn and my rear starts to fish tail alittle and i got off it, that was alittle scary, so i catch up to him after he slows down and my friend asks him what kind of car and he says Carrera, I was like sweet.. I was looking on the net and his car looked alot like the Porsche 911 with the big spolier on the back plus his car was freaking loud. But anyways sorry so long this is my first good kill in my camaro so i thought i would finally post it oh my mods on my camaro are 4.10 gears, auburn posi, stock exhaust with no muffler cut it off tonight, and K+N filter Hurst short throw shifter, havn't really got the mod bug for this car yet i've been dumping all my money into my big block chevelle.

Good kill, impressive that you beat a carrera with the mods you have.
Punctuation is your friend.
I'm also impressed that you beat a Carrera.
As far as the big spoiler on the back of the car...was it this?

If so, you are a lying dog.

Well, there were too, right? The GT3 is brand new, and slightly faster than the 911 turbo(996, of course), if you can get traction... So, umm, if the guy knew how to drive, then I dont think you raced this car. Also, you don't seem to know jack **** about porsches, so I wouldnt doubt if your identification is correct.
Did you race the newer one? The latest body style 911 is the 996, and the 996 carreras have the spoilers that "move up and down," given the speed. The 993 was the body style before the 996, and is quite a bit older. I think some of the carrera's had fixed spoilers... Were the two cars distinctly different in their body styles? Which one did you race? both? Your story was so poorly written I can hardly make anything out...

I can believe this story as long as you didn't race a GT2, GT3, or Turbo. A 996 Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Cabriolet (all those models too), or a Targa could have easily lost to his LS1 with those 4.10's.
Milla, the Carreras all have raisable spoilers. You can raise them yourself, or let the computer raise it at a certain speed (I think like 75 and above). The spoiler is really the whole grille section on the engine cover.
Play Project Gotham Racing 2 with the Porsche 911/996 Carrera, and you can watch the spoiler rise at speed.

Oh, and if the guy said it was a carrera, and wasn't lying, then it wasn't a GT3, as that is not a carrera...
