The concept of torque doesn’t change because you’re talking about running engine.

Torque without a rate is meaningless, torque over time is very important.
The word for torque over time is power.

Torque is not a synonym for power.

I want maximum average power in the working RPM range the engine.

This goes right back to the scenario in the other thread that you wisely chose to dodge.

You do know that the only reason the Z28 has a back seat is because the seat frame is a part of the structure and it would have been more weight to delete it, right? They're both stripped down, dedicated track cars, it's an apples to apples comparison. You're just making **** up because the Ford wins.

It has 300lbs on the LT1 to start with, throw in another 200lbs from the passenger, and you get a dead even race.
well it wasn’t dead even the LT1 was running a train up top and that’s what I’ve seent myself too

I don't dodge anything.....you do. Like this question. How has your hotrods ran?

Tq is power. There is zero work getting done without tq. That's just how it is.

Do you want more tq or less tq? Dodge that question again....lol

The furd didn't win tho. On track the r and z28 is a dead heat. All you have to do is look at all the tracks they ran on other than cherry pick one......of which the r only wins due to the carbon wheels and gutted.

I have always compared 2seat cars to 2seat cars and 4seat cars to 4seat cars. That's only logical.

Here's the fact....the z28 beats the gt350. And if you uncorked them both it would only get worse for the gt350 and the r at that point.

z28 is .3 Slower in the quarter mile and 2+ seconds slower around the track = dead heat...Okay then. "Interestingly, the Z/28 retains a rear seat because the car is lighter with one than without. "The rear seat is part of the structure, so when you remove it you have to compensate with bracing," says Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer. "You can easily end up with a car that's heavier than it was when you started."

Again...it's not 2sec slower. It's faster on some tracks and that test the z28 had **** tires on it. I don't even consider the r in the equation....it's 2 seat. The z28 is faster than the gt350....end of starry.

The dedicated track car is faster than the street car around a track?!? You're kidding me?!? If only there was a track version of the GT350 that we could test...Oh wait, we have that car, and the Z28 lost, horribly. Gonna cry about it, or pretend it doesn't count? I'm guessing both, in the floor, kicking and screaming, tears flowing, GM IS FASTER WAHHHHHH, IT HAS 4 SEATS, WAHHHHH. THE 30LBS DIFFERENCE CLEARLY ADDED UP TO 2 SECONDS, WAHHHHH!!!! WHY DOES NO ONE TAKE ME SERIOUSLY, WAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

You have failed miserably to make any solid point.

As I said the r even loses on track at some tracks.

No one does take you seriously......your experiences or lack of them is why.

But that's ok....you're just like kamala. You think you won but have done ****.

Just like the weak point of you saying the z28 is a dedicated track car.....like the gt350 isn't? Please bitch....run along and go somewhere where you will be appreciated. Like a gay bar.

Post two tracks where the Z28 beats the 350R. GT350 has A/C, and a nav unit, and power leather seats, tires that can be driven in the rain. That's a street car. Z28 and 350R aren't.

I can tell ya one track off the top of my head.....vir. Lightning lap which is gonna be the most fair best comparison you'll find because all the manufacturers bring their A game there. No beat up press cars with questionable tires/alignment like in the test you posted. Vir lightning lap is the best most fair top tier comparison you're gonna find. I'm sure there are other tracks the z28 was faster on to.

Almost all z28s had ac and radio.....like 90%. Sssoooo street car. It even has all its seats not just 50% of them.

When did having nav make something a street car? None of my vehicles have nav. Are they race cars?

I guess my 2500hd is full race because it don't have leather or nav. My camaro is more street than my 2500hd according to you. It has power leather seats.....no nav tho but it was ran on rain worthy tires when it went 10.7@130ish.
