Are you sure the Cobra had that much done to it. I could understand if the Cobra was near stock. If he did have pully, tune, and exhaust, I would think the guy driving the Cobra sucked at driving. Just my 2c. Not trying to be a dick or anything. Good death Btw.

Friends of mine with LT1s mostly have hotcams. I can think of a few offhand. With just the cam and full bolt ons, they dyno 330-340 rwhp and run 13 flat at the track at 112 or so (may be a bit better). Those running LT1 ported heads (stock ported) are around 370 and low 12's, if I recall correctly.
My friends have a tendency to refer to their ported LT1 heads as "just stock LT1 heads, not LT4s". They tend to ignore the fact that they are ported heads and downplay them saying they're ONLY Lt1 heads.

Those mods will get you about 460rwhp. Like I said, 465-470rwhp is on the high end. I can make a dyno read 600rwhp. Don't let numbers throw you. I know 30+ guys with these cars and my buddy's shop has done hundreds. A ported blower with those mods will get you 500rwhp +/- 10rwhp. A lower pulley and the mods above will generate more torque, but no more power.

hey man, i dont know why all this hate. the bottom line is that if he didnt know how to drive he got smoked either way. what am i supposed to do? am i supposed to bust out a questionaire and ask him if he can drive? do you know how to change gears? do you know how to powershift? what does blinking hazards mean? how old are you? blah blah blah.. like i said in another post before, a chase is a race and if you get next to me and rev your motor and punch it, i am gonna punch it and if you let off thats your bad. if the kid didnt know how to drive then thats his problem. like i said before i dont consider myself a good driver. i mod to make up for my lack of driving skills and i am man enough to admit it.
