I ran a WS6 the other night, with an L plate that read, "QWIK WS6".

While I know he has FULL exhaust, cam, and nitrous, I am not so sure the nitrous was hooked up. By the time I hit 4th gear, I was about 10 cars ahead of him. He asked me what was done, and my reply was simple, "It's still stock " .

He obviously knew it wasn't, but at any rate, it was fun slaughtering another car with my girl in the car, and his girl in the car .

So if you are on this board, own up . Good run though and thanks for adding a little excitement to my boring ride .

PS: I have an 03 cobra with a couple of things done .

God, I hate posts that read like they were written by an 8 year old kid while riding the short bus to school. Good kill though. Those damned cobras can do some major damage with new pulleys.

You also KNOW he had nitrous ... you're just not sure if it was hooked up (so you don't KNOW if he had nitrous...) How does one KNOW someone else has nitrous ... I would assume if it's not hooked up one really doesn't HAVE nitrous, do they? When my car doesn't have the bottle in it, I don't consider it to HAVE nitrous.

I don't agree with your statement,but i do not totally beleive this guys story either.
I have a LS1 with FULL exhaust and NITROUS without a CAM and i don't think his Cobra could put about 10 lengths on the other guy.
It can happen,but i don't know if i beleive it without a list of MODS and or some track times.
Without a CAM my setup can and has run low 11's and am looking for high10's with new slicks instead of drag radials.



So post your MODS dude.

Perhaps after obtaining his G.E.D., this fellow thought he was knowledgable enough to type a nice post about his Modded Cobra killing a kid with a catback and !driving skills! by 10 car lengths.

Stealing the hit also makes 10 cars more believable.

Not at all. I just think the story is BS or he raced a full bolt-on (nothing else) LS1. A lot of people make up **** or stretch the truth for some reason, and I believe controversial stories which lack pertinent information, such as the speed the race started/ended, the winning cars mod list, and basically ANY detail about the race whatsoever ... with a claimed outcome that is HIGHLY unlikely ... should be subject to some scrutiny. Never called BS and certainly never got mad ... I just want some more info.

A 03 cobra with a pully and exhaust is not putting 10+ car lengths on a Full bolt-on'd, cammed, and sprayed LS1 (we're talking at least 475-500rwhp) ... by the time he hits 4th gear (if he could Ever do that).

p.s. Him being a friend of a friend means that you know NOTHING about him. I have had friends approach me about the "fastest car ever", and it ends up to be a light bolt-on GT stang, or something of the like. A lot of people talk their car up to be much more then it really is around their friends. EVERYONE knows some guy who tells his friends he has a 10 second civic, when in fact it is really a 15 second civic.
