so some fagtards on offtopic are saying that a stock ls1 will put buslengths on a cobra which i know wont happen. maybe 2-3 at most. however, they are also saying a cobra will lose to a 2.73 geared auto z28 from a roll! they are also telling me that auto's come with 3.23 geared rears STOCK(its an option, not standard)

please, can anyone provide videos of stock cobras vs stock ls1's or even post information so i can link these retards(funny they own ls1's) to this thread. im not defending the cobra, but i dont want a bunch of dumbass ls1 owners running around and making everyone look stupid.

The stock 03 CBRA will totally own the stock LS1. I KNOW. I had 3 races with them at the track. I lost all 3 times. Don't believe me, try a fresh off the lot owner and watch his grin as you hear that supercharger.

Exactly where does he say '03+ Cobras? Though buslengths are an exaggeration a stock LS1 will put a hurting on a pre '03 Cobra. Also a bone stock '03+ Cobra vs. a stock LS1 f-car is not a slaughter. Yes the Cobra has an advantage, but again its not buslengths. I've seen them turn low 13's. I've seen stock f-cars run mid 13's. Where the '03+ Cobra really shines is when you mod it. Cheap mods = big gains.

Maybe a Mach 1 with a 5spd VS a LS1 with an Auto it would be close, but I don't think a Stock Mach 1 M5 could take out a Stock M6 F-Body just my opinion, I may be wrong. My car went low 13s Bone Stock

What are your times? It is mostly in the driver. I am a pretty good driver and wish I were in TX. I would like some frendly driver races with my stock Z. I have never lost to any mustang. (never raced an 03+ cobra) But have raced many a mach 1.

I take that back. I have lost to an 88'ish notchback mustang. But it has alot of money and work done to it. Only lost by .02 seconds on one race and by .001 on the other. I have not really raced a ton of them. but enough of them to think I can drive my stocker pretty good.

You don't need a cam let a lone a good cam to beat a stock 03 Cobra. they put down about 350rwhp bone stock. An Ls1 can reach that w full exhaust (with LT's) and bolt-ons. And the LS1 has the advantage at equal power levels b/c thet are quite a bit heavier.
