427ci + 100 shot Z06 vs KB cobra Follow the link. Z06 puts down 625rwhp and the KB puts down 650rwhp. The Z06 owner is supposed to put up in car videos soon.

Motor to motor just meant no nitrous. They know that a blown car isn't "all motor". It seems that they just phrased it incorrectly. No big deal.
From what I've read, that Cobra makes ~800rwhp with the boost cranked up on the hose.

we will see what that looks like when the other video gets posted...
here is my thing though... that vette is DOWN on power or just old shitty exhaust and heads on it. we have 427/434 cars here making 560 rwhp on MOTOR and we can probably squeeze more out.... and with a ******* 100 to 150 shot, we would make killer power..
U LUZ's car against that cobra would have been a black z06 way out in front
but still two nice cars batteling it out

how lean do you think that guy is running that dope and blower on the car? he did say he was doing the high dyno just for numbers. i want to know if he had to get real lean to toss that number up....
if not, still a bad *** car and will roll the hell out

As we speak the car is back at the shop getting a upgraded fuel system, so the owner can spray with confidence.
I hope the Z06 posts the in car video soon with his take on the race. He chimed in on the original thread, but has not since the race happened.

. If you read the original thread, the cobra owner fully admits that the Z06 would pull him if he had shifted in to 5th gear. I don't find the point in racing in 5th gear, but I guess people like yourself do. Congrats.

I'm not sure if you've been to the track recently. Take a look around and tell me how many 8,9, and 10 second Mustangs you see. Then let me know how many 8,9, and 10 second Z06's you see.

Ya know, this stuff makes me wanna go get a Fox Body and stuff a crate motor in it to run 8's just to shut some holes. It don't matter what ya drive. There's always someone better, faster or just luckier than you.

Both are very sick cars. I think it's kinda cool that even though the cars are soo different in many ways they still are about even. Wonder what would happen from a dig, driver's race for sure.
